It feels like we've all crash landed on an island, and we start to make our way through the deep dark forest, night after night, in search of food and rescue, and one by one, we are getting picked off by an unknown enemy or an enemy within? everytime I look around there is another character missing, is what happened in  Lost? never saw it. Must be going on for nearly 20 posters banned since the New Year.

Shocking if banned for anything he posted. Always stuck to his guns despite many an attack.
Had deep rooted feelings on some matters but could never have been accused of hatred towards them.
Hopefully it's similar to The Chasers ban (a verification issue) and he'll be back.

The process you will be asked to complete is dependent on your Betfair activity and could be for one of the following reasons:

Lack of sufficient information upon registration.
Reaching certain activity levels.
Placing a bet on Australian markets.

Betfair must have tens of thousands of customers why then are customers only on chit chat and politics suddenly disappearing within a month ? No way an organisation could filter through that amount of customers randomly and coincidently the top 10 to 20 regular posters vanish. It's a cull a witch-hunt imo.

I hope he has not been banned or if he has only for a while.

Didn't agree with much he said but never saw anything ban worthy - and to be honest why should people be getting banned unless it is libelous etc? Hope you make it back ebulgery.

I believe his original forum name was regarding the colouring of a greyhound ,He was banned for something previously hence the reverse name ...

The Chaser has told us all the answer. Most of these bans have got nothing to do with what has been written, it's because users need to verify their accounts. Whether or not Betfair are cracking down on multiple accounts, who knows?

Some but not all are due to this.Ron has said his details where all fake on the PJ harvey so obviously he won't be back under that name anyway.COX if he is reporting will just keep going until he hits it lucky ( lucky for him no one else )


So if he flags up an account and it's unverified then Betfair have no choice but to suspend the account until it's verified.I presume a lot of the banned people will probably have fake details due to previous bans so that's the ones who won't be back imo.

I'm not saying this is all 100% truth but it's near to it

money got 6 month i think he said for saying something

So the reporter will get some of the unverified people and some who say something out of line ( well out of line to someone but if it's flagged then they come hunting you )

Beattie no need to get upset because cox doesn't want your help.But if you want someone to communicate from here and the forum banning me would be a bad choice as no one else will post what is said on here when you need a message in.But if i do get banned then i certainly won't be trying to ban others.

Hello me and a lot of other forum members where wondering why posts keep getting removed for no reason.Then we came across a site that has banned members on it who admit to repeatedly reporting posts even if they are just genuine Chit Chat posts.Their aim is to try and ban everyone they can.I have recently verified my account and still my posts get removed due to the banned members who are constantly reporting them in the hope of more people being banned.The banned members boost they can still report people for no reason even when banned from the forum.Do you think there is anyway we could have a forum that is locked away form the outside or even just remove the report button.

in some ways he was smarter, and nicer, than he himself realised.

As casemoney said earlier, I too remember him as Blue Grey. He has been a part of the furniture on here since day 1. Totally inoffensive and always articulate, I hope he is back soon.
