|

Why do homosexuals want to get married anyway? Marriage is a heterosexual concept, why do the homosexuals have to steal someone else's ideas? And you know this new-fangled trend for showing two blokes kissing on telly? I find that extremely offensive, it proper turns my stomach. And no way should homosexuality be promoted at school under some sort of diversity banner, that's just plain wrong.

gay marriage only effects gay people.........get over it Marriage effects everybody. Marriage is one of the basic building blocks of our society and has always been between a man and a woman in one form or another since we existed. I don't discriminate against anyone. But I do not believe that two members of the same sex can marry one another, and never will. Just my own opinion. |
|
By:
Gays have always existed, always will, but I feel are better in the background, makes it easier for everyone else.
It is complicated enough having men and women fancying one another, for some of us. |
|
By:
How do two gays propose? They both get on all fours and present the ring!
|
|
By:
Was always going to be problems.
If a minister or priest feels it is against what they believe in then nobody has the right to force them to marry a gay couple. |
|
By:
I dont think ebulGery should be allowed to do certain things in life like marriage.......i have decided this because i just want to........i also wish he would go into the background.......
|
|
By:
Ebul has an opinion as we all have.
I think all that he is saying is that whilst it is acceptable in law it's not something he thinks is right. What's wrong with him having that point of view? Is a view I share btw. |

Equality through the back door.

![]() It is only 56 years since homosexuality was legalised in this country. Some of us older ones were brought up to believe marriage was only between a man and a women None of the major World Religions even think Homosexuality is right, let alone Gay Marriage... Perhaps in the future everybody will accept Gay Marriage, perhaps not? But just because we have changed the law, does not mean everybody's beliefs can just change over night. I do not personally stop anyone marrying someone of their own sex, but I do not find it natural and I doubt I ever will. I doubt think we can peoples deeply held religious beliefs either. |

It is if you're trying to force someone to act against their beliefs and try to force churches to conduct gay marriages.
|
|
By:
no one is trying to force churches to perform gay marriages so stop the rubbbish..........."if you see your neighbour working on a sunday, kill him"..........thats the stuff religion believes in

Should still be illegal in my opinion. What's next to be made legal?

the production and sale of cannabis will be legal in north/south america and european union in 30 years time
have a look at the domino effect in north and south america..........more and more states in US are legalising it and same in south america.............this is a formality.......... |
|
By:
i dont have strong opinions on drugs as drug use effects non users as well due to anti social behaviour..........cannabis will become legal for the same reasons alcohol did........cost benefit analysis.......its certainly not good for society but so many people want to use it and criminalising it is causing mayhem..........

"None of the major World Religions even think Homosexuality is right" no basis for any argument It is if you are a religious believer. My way of dealing is to think of homosexuality as a very small sin, which is forgivable. But I cannot accept Gay Marriage as Marriage, which is my personal right, other people can make their own decisions. |

By:
I think cannabis should be legal myself, so I agree with you on something brain dead
