Those bridges look beautiful Akabula, must make you feel proud to be Scottish.
Crossing The Forth Bridge is one of my earliest memories.
That's the cantilever bridge in the background which carries the trains across but never ever refer to it as The Forth rail bridge.
I remember being thrilled at crossing the Forth and seeing some boats way way below but still flinch when I remember throwing some pennies out of the train window which was a tradition.
My father gave me and my sister the pennies and tradition or no tradition I'd rather have bought sweets with it.

You had a very good dad, akabula, one that did not want you to rot your teeth on sugar, but one that sought to maintain local tradition and history, you must be proud looking back.

My Dad akabula used to take me to the Galway and Tralee festivals every year when I was a kid, he was my hero.
