Just discovered I won a years Sharkscope Gold thanks to this thread!

Haven't logged in to 2p2 for over a month then I noticed this thread and thought I'd give it another look. I randomly entered a competition and discovered a PM to say I'd won.

There was only a small amount who entered lol. I just sent my PM so it'll take a few days to set the subscription. I gave a few suggestions for the Pokercast team to spread the word but I'll put it on this thread if there's any future competitions but I wouldn't expect a large amount of entries. Might as well get a fellow chit chatter winning.

I'm serious if anyone needs anything checked on Sharkscope, I rarely use my 10 free searches per day anyway.

What's their policy on giving free searches to friends....they might revoke your prize ?

The HUD seems useful but as you have to opt in It'll probably have limited use.

I've paid for Sharkscope before but I wouldn't do again. Buying Holdem Manager or Poker Tracker is a far better investment imo.

I couldn't get PT to work originally so I've used HEM ever since. HEM definitely is more comprehensive but PT is far less resource hungry. I have tried PT but I'm far more comfortable with HEM.

I use a HUD but it confused me massively when I first tried it (I even started a thread on 2p2 with a whinge). Best thing for tracking software is to analyse your own stats, you can literally delve into any stat you like. I was able to work out that ATo from early position is a loser for me but ATs a winner, I play both hands differently now. I was also able to increase my VPiP and PFR and get those numbers a lot closer. Stats by position is a nugget as you should have a steady progression of losing the most in the blinds and winning the most on the button. You can look for spots to increase profitability in all spots.

I was having trouble with one of the top regs at low stakes on Stars and I discovered he was 3 betting my steals a lot. When I discovered that, I started 4 betting him and the problem stopped straight away. He was playing to my stat of folding to a 3 bet too much. Of course he could adjust eventually but then so can I. It's great for quickly working out the whales and regs in your game, you can value target the calling stations while bluff the regs

I've now 1M hands in my database, best $50 I spent (it's now $100). I didn't even pay for it as I won a £50 bounty for knocking out The Klup in a Betfair game.

If you uninstall with a proper uninstaller like the free Revo. This will get rid of all traces of the program and you may be able to get another free trial. Worth giving it a go.

I think that current competition is still open on that thread with only a handful of entries. Might be worth having a guess.

PM a mod and explain your situation. I've mentioned William Hill and Pokerschoolonline today but never gave any links, most sites don't like direct links as links are usually competition and it improves the competition's standing on Google.

I got my free searches sorted already.

It did have a link on but that had been there over a year so it is the same sad muppet who must have reported me who is reporting everyone else.

You have a case, just contact a mod and ask why.

The only run in I had on here without arguing was by Crags a few weeks ago. He trolls but I would still never report him.

I post there sometimes when I have a specific query, but as I play omaha poker there are not as many fellow players as holdem, so I don't usually get quality replies.

I don't volume, I'm a low stakes player who makes pocket money but the money is still there.

I am glad that I put a different password on each of my accounts, but you never know what to think nowadays.

I'm the same Annie, I never use any p/w more than once.
With e-mails I use 1 acc for poker and newish sites, 1 for trusted sites and 1 purely for banking.

Annie was that an isolated hack on your account or an attack on the site?

Thanks, Diva, I am so glad that I do not have online banking.  The only thing they can get money from are my gambling accounts, but they are notoriously difficult to get money out of!

But as I said I don't think they can access anything as the password from 2+2 is not used anywhere else I am pretty sure, I think   But I have not thought this through yet and any details I have given them may be used for fraud possibly.

You are right, akabula, I must open some more email accounts. 

I am glad now that the gambling sites want confirmation, then if someone wanted to get my money out of my account I think they have to have the money sent to the account it was opened with or something like that.

This is the second time 2P2 has been hacked. If you use a similar password for anything else including all poker sites then you should change it ASAP.

To be fair your thread offered nothing & you'd hardly made a constructive poker comment since joining , they usually just close threads so banning seems a bit harsh (it'll have nothing to do with anybody from here) but understand 2+2 is sponsored by Pokerstars !

Generally you get a warning if you post something you shouldn't like a link to a competitor. Only when you get abusive or spam on purpose is it a straight red.

Leopard, I was a moderator on a Sports forum and an Andy Murray forum ( which is no longer in existence )and yes it is easy to track a persons ip address.

I remember a member who had two identities having a right old argument with himself on a thread
