JBourne took over from Bond, it was a bond without the gadgets. the bond franchise was in trouble with Brosnan and Dalton. they saw Jason B and just cloned the fighting style - cage fighter. they fed off each other. Bond is now back, making billions.

To be honest it's a bit of a moot argument, end of the day Ronnie Pickering could have both of them.
Though I think if Ronnie Pickering jumped 5 floors down a stairwell and used another guy to cushion the fall, it would be more of a "splat" than a "walk away". |
