Well installing OSMC was simple enough, all went without a problem at all.

Not sure what the difference is to the original Kodi source code to be honest, looking into it a bit more i think it was just a selling point for their VERO-2 streaming box Confused

Nice one mate.

I probably need to put some more on mine. I've only got Exodus (which I probably use 95% of the time) at the minute, and it seems a waste to have a Kodi Box without porn on demand!

Navi-x is already included with what you did yesterday kenbo, just select the other zip file

Select fusion
Select kodi-repos
Select english
Select repo.exodus.x.x.x.zip
By:
Smar Tarse
When: 04 Jan 17 12:19
You want repository.xbmchub-x.x.x.zip this time to install navi-x
By:
s.kenbo
When: 04 Jan 17 12:35
I followed those steps. After repository.xbmchub-x.x.x.zip theses three options appear

addon.xml

I can't see Navi anywhere?
By:

It is in Video add-ons

Wait for Add-on enabled notification
Select Install from repository
Select TVADDONS.ag Addon Repository
Select Video add-ons
Select Navi-X
Select Install
Wait for Add-on enabled notification

Navi-X is now installed and ready to use.

I think Navi-X is rubbish. It never works properly. Sportsmania is where its at for sports. OK, there is a fee, but it works out at a pound a week ffs. Also, the build they provide is awesome.

I've never found a sporting stream that I'd be happy watching.

Hi Billy,

Can you advise if the above process would work to put KODI on an Amazon Firestick? - if there's any difference it would be great if you could point them out -  cheers if you can advise, no worries if not

I am not bothered about watching any sports.

FM,

Kodi has to be sideloaded onto the firestick. It's pretty easy to do, although some parts can be fiddly. This guide is the correct way to do it without a PC and takes about 15 minutes.

Do you need boxes and cards for kodi, thought you can download everything you need.

You don't need any extra boxes. You can use any device that kodi runs on. It's just easier and quicker to buy boxes with the pirate addons that are being talked about in this thread pre-installed.

They made their own skin and added an appstore and some optimisations regarding drivers, ressources and whatnotHappy In general, OSMC is a full fledged Debian Linux based operating system that simply autostarts into kodi (which is just a software).

On your raspberry pi 3 running osmc you can e.g also run a home webserver, a torrent client, a pyload downloader, an irc bouncer, your own cloud or DNS server, home backup server, NAS server etc. in the background....basically everything you could do with any Debian/Linux device.

Really frustrating that Kenbo, done it a few times.

I've ended up on Preditah this time - very simple, gives me good sport - watched all of the PDC darts with no problems on Sky - and Exodus which is invaluable for movies.

There is a mobdro add-on for kodi, are you saying it isn't very good via kodi Billy ? I was thinking of installing it.

I've always found Navi-x shiit too. A lot of Yanks swear by it but it's terrible to navigate and only 1 in 10 links work. Craap.

SALTS and Exodus the two big ones. If you don't know already, instead of waiting for all the links to load and going through them all, highlight the film and keep your hand on the 'ok' button...this will then give you auto-play to save all that arsing about.
By:

When: 04 Jan 17 22:00
That Navi-x does like to crash a lot too.

Very kind, I'll have a go using the video that Treble kindly posted first - if I can't get it to work I will take you up on your kind offer - thanks very much everyone Happy

Another tip, which you probably know already kenbo, Exodus removed the add to favourites option because of traders selling pre configured boxes. To get that back you sign up-to trakt.tv. Then you can use the add to watchlist which is the same as the old Exodus add to favourites really.
By:
s.kenbo
When: 05 Jan 17 12:26
I didn't know that. TBH I've never adding anything to favourites before.
