internet wasn't a big thing then and everyone seemed perfectly happy
no everyone is obsessed with it, weird

I did when it started as i was a techno geek, at the beginning i had websites in the early 90's hoping to make money from ringtones.....

I will admit I did touch Facebook, quit, and then was convinced to try again. I quit again soon after (2010) and have had no desire to return to that or any other similar site.
And yes, I have been to Cornwall so all is good

Nights out with your mates were harder because they actually took planning. Admittedly only about a minute's worth of planning but even that is beyond anyone under 30.
You had to arrange to meet (say) outside the cinema at half past seven and if they weren't there you then had a quandary: had you been stood up? Had her bus been delayed? Was she at the other cinema round the corner? Was she waiting inside the cinema because it is a bit cold or started to rain? You didn't know what to do. These days you get to within about a mile and within half an hour then just phone or text the other person -- "I'm here; where are you?"
