People who ask me to remove my bag off the seat on the train, It's there to stop anyone sitting on it!

When I'm in the mood I actually seek out the person with the bag on the seat.    The look of thinly disguised hatred makes me chuckle.

After going to New York with your mate and him being a shambolic, strung out, paranoid mess for 4 days, which included

being abandoned for a lot of the trip because;
he didnt want to get jetlagged so was in bed early
he went AWOL after getting sh1tfaced, ending up in ER for the night, losing phone and credit card
being alone for most of the US Open final because he had to get off the subway halfway there, to sleep on a park bench

having to deal with tantrums because;
I paid for 2 beers a barman forgot to add ("he should learn personal responsibility")
it came up in conversation that he is 6 feet tall (he really, really is)
His wrinkles are actually "success lines"
I mentioned to a couple of friends we had been to a strip club (which he dragged me into)
I wouldn't lend him my phone because of the aforementioned talk of personal responisbility

then when this same d1ckhead turns up at the pre-arranged meeting point 75 minutes late on our way to the airport, I would say THAT was the height of bad manners.

When you hold the door for someone and they just walk through without taking the door from you.

Then someone else is within a certain distance so you hold the door for them, you could be there all day if they're all rude b&ggers but you wouldn't want to let it close on someone as you have good manners.

manners are a difficult thing, you have to keep your eyes, and ears and senses open

you can learn manners but it's difficult if you don't have the temperament for it

if there were only two or three hundred people scattered all over the world manners would not be necessary

People who don't indicate when leaving a roundabout. Also people unprepared to pay for goods even though they've been queuing for several minutes, the queue grows each time one of these idiots search for cards/cash.

I was in Japan once, they are so polite. so much so it can mean if you say something silly they don't like to correct you,
I got on the wrong train because of this. that's taking politeness too far

I love traveling by train, never been to Japan though so cannot talk about their railway system at all.
Did the wrong train episode cost you a lot of time ?

Lfc, please, stop it and go someone else.

Do others agree with me regards the interrupting thing.  Certain people just dont understand the art of conversation and think it is all about everyone listening to them.  I cant think of anything ruder.  (Lfc take note)

In Japan people wont interrupt you.  They wont use mobiles on trains.  In fact any conversation on trains is largely muted.  I loved their politeness.  I hate it on trains in UK and you get a load of south european students, you know you are going to be subjected to a hundred decibels of (apparently friendly) shouting for the rest of the journey.

I've had people start speaking in a foreign language while I've been showing them a property.

That's pretty rude.

Not as rude as me though, I wasn't going to let people like them have it anyway.Laugh
