As I said on the Rick Parfitt thread, the numbers of people bowing out, from the 60s/70s period, can only get worse.....

George Michael wasn't due to die for another 25 years

A woman on 'Deal Or No Deal' told us she needed £15k for IVF treatment. George Michael secretly phoned the next day and gave her the £15k

That was one hell of a secret!!!

Rick Parfitt and George Michael over the Christmas period, just when you might have been thinking the curse of 2016 couldn't get any worse !!!!! Was never really a big fan of GM - obviously had a very troubled personal life - but he was a fantastic talent, did like a lot of his songs. Very sad, and 53 not young but way too young to die. So many dying far too young.

What a sh!t year 2016 has been.

Will be glad to see the back of it.

Sad to hear of a talented individual dying at 53. Not sure about the tributes stating that he was a "beacon" and a "fearless inspiration" to young gay people, though. Didn't he pretend to be straight for about 20 years?

It certainly has. Putting aside anything that's happened in our personal lives... we've lost some real music legends and then there's the twin horrors of Brexit and Trump
