Yes I went to one of the Manchester gigs - the crowd made the gig, thought the Roses were poor - no different from the awful Ally Pally gig in 1990

Who is better?? IMHO best band going at present are Tame Impala - they have done 3 brilliant albums, each one better than the previous.

Best live gigs I have been to this year were Kraftwerk, Peter Hook and The Light, Steve Mason, The Smyths, Mogwai

Kraftwerk big H you hit the jackpot there shes a model and shes looking good, the Smiths too absolute class seen them at the gallery 85

The Roses first album was brilliant but they spent all the dough on Charlie and whisky

The Smyths playing The Smiths greatest hits is a great night out - highly recommended for fans of The Smiths
