I have mentioned this before, they haven't thought it thru. The yanks can do as they like but there could be complaints if no ethnic names in this country.

I do hope the girl who served me in Sainsburys a couple of months ago joins the Met office. Her name was Rapeeporn!

Norm would be a good name for a storm, everyone could go outside to greet it like a scene from Cheers.
Report Aspro December 31, 2016 11:14 AM GMT
Going back to the storm of '87 the company I worked for at the time told us all that if anyone wants to make a storm damage claim then tell them to go ahead with the work, "we'll pay it" - I thought that was a great gesture and you can imagine my client's faces when I told them.

Mind you, the following year they doubled the premiums Laugh

Naming storms in the UK only began in 2015.

The first was Storm Abigail. A big gale.

I ran into a big gale once, sent her takeaway flying, she was not amused. I promised to buy her another one but she said fck off I'm not going to dinner with a blind baldy twaat like you.
