Then hand in a few toys to a charity centre or go do voluntary work at a soup kitchen then.

In his time he was a superb crosser of the ball but now??  Still looks good in underwear!!! But who wants to know all this carp about family etc.  Nice bit of promotion to improve the brand and the bank balance for Beckham Inc.

Critics said the song was only getting attention because of who the youngster's parents are.

Another made up story from the BBC. Who are these "Critics"?
To be a critic, you'd have to know and care (Positively or negatively) about the subject.

I don't know of anyone who cares what Cruz Beckham does.

I'd like the BBC to name these "Critics"

How is it not blatant opportunism?
The kid is signed by some sort who also owns the rights to that other pantomime kid in America.
This beckham kid is about ten ffs, how is a ten year old getting signed if not simply because who his parents are and marketing?
What his songs going to be about at ten? Bed wetting?
Always tickles me when kids get given scripts to sing, like Jackson or the tiny osmond kid sang about love and relationships Laugh

No wonder Britain is in such a mess with parents like you, most of you are working class and British and poor no doubt, not a good combination. being poor makes people sad and unfriendly.
so pipe down.

stuff like this happens because 90% of people are idiots
Report dustybin • December 14, 2016 9:49 AM GMT
I certainly don't have the cash brand becks have, but I'm niether working class nor poor.
I'd have let you have cynical (which is the opposite to naive) or even misanthropic,  but you didn't think of those did you?

switch off the TV, don't buy their products

Avoid people in the 90% category because they add nothing positive to your life

Was there a point?

Don't be offended by being labelled working class. I'm not. It's certainly nothing to be ashamed of. I take exception to the belief that being poor makes you sad, just as wealth does not guarantee happiness. I was much happier when I was poorer than I am now.
Report dustybin • December 14, 2016 11:17 AM GMT
Can't say I did particulally take offence pantsonfire, indeed my grandparents on my mother's side were both working class and I suppose poor, but a more honest pair you wouldn't find.
People were valued on merit not marketing back then.

It's a nice song, although the line "those dirty stinking jews" will no doubt raise a few eyebrows.

http://www.jpost.com/Diaspora/David-Beckham-says-he-feels-Jewish-thanks-to-grandfather-457348

“My grandfather was Jewish, that was on my mother’s side, so yes, I do see myself …” former British soccer start says.

“I was never brought up Jewish, but like I said, my grandfather was, and every time we went to synagogue I was part of that,” Beckham said.

But Beckham, 33, the former "Posh Spice" member of the 1990s band "The Spice Girls," told a television interview to mark her family's move to the United States that religion was nothing to do with their friendship.

"There's been so much made of the Scientology, the this, the that. They are genuinely lovely people. Wonderful family," Beckham said in an interview to be aired on Thursday on NBC's "Today" program.

Beckham said religion was not an issue when the couples socialized and it had not even come up.

"They do their thing. We do our thing," said Beckham, who was married by an Anglican Church of Ireland bishop near Dublin in 1999.
