These Syrians look really annoyed that Russia & the Syrian Army liberated them from "moderate rebels" & ISIS.

Russia is TERRIBLE.

RUSSIA

-Protects its own culture
-Refuses to import millions of migrants
-Refuses to bow to radical Islam
-Kicks ISIS ass
-Encourages its population to have children
-Looks out for economic interests of its population
-Rejects unipolar globalism
-Wants to work with leaders of other world powers, not go to war with them

Yep, having anything to do with Russia is TERRIBLE!

I totally agree with you Ron.

Russia is not the Soviet Union of Joe Stalin!

Putin will not let Russia be kicked about, he is a good leader, he does not want war.

Here’s why there are no “moderate rebels” in Aleppo or anywhere else in Syria

The primary purpose of this constant shifting of names and labels is – to give the impression that there are moderate groups in Syria fighting the Syrian government when in fact there are none.

The above was taken from a piece wrote back in August

just as 'Muslims like us'  they are just cuddly caring people
By:

When: 13 Dec 16 22:17
There is not a lot of cuddles or caring going on in Aleppo at the moment

The obvious problem is the Government are Shias, the rebels are Sunnis.

But we need peace for the sake of humanity there are some terrible things going out there.

Neither do Muslim refugees need to come and live with us, which nobody wants.

I am hoping for some ideas from Trump here.

they are now implying the government forces are not complying with the cease fire

apparently no one contacted the syrian forces or the iranian militia - so there wasn't even an agreement

turkey and russia were involved in some sort of deal but not some of the forces on the ground

what I don't like is the unbalanced reporting (most of it comes from western media who are not anywhere near aleppo)

of course both sides will be pushing their propaganda  but it is so one sided from the west

for instance - what happened to the 250,000 facing catastrophe - there was a lot of scaremongering going on

there have been a lot of innocents killed but nothing like the figures being guessed at by the western press who are

safe in turkey

The mainstream (fake news) media's source for Assad-led mass atrocities in Aleppo is literally 'someone told us'.

you are being fed news by western journos in turkey etc who are NOT in aleppo or anywhere near it

the stuff coming out of aleppo is mainly supporters of terrorist groups

there may be one or two genuine messages though

a lot of civilians are also being, or have been, forced to stay there by terrorist groups

this may now have declined after daesh ran away
but you still have bin laden's affiliates there don't forget

anyway - it is nothing like the 250 k spewed out by media sources who were not even there !!!

of course the US overthrew the Iraq tyrant and dictator with great speed and very few casualties, but they didn't get any thanks for that, quite the opposite the people reacted in mindless savagery.
This is the problem Syria has, if Assad was removed would they in turn be intent on murdering each other or setting up some other even more barbaric regime.
Or would they thank America and behave like sensible human beings ?
I suppose any things possible.
By:

When: 14 Dec 16 12:43
You blame a country for invisible weapons, invade them, destroy their infrastructure and demand thanks? WOW. You sir are an idiot of the hghest order.

And now the Syrians are supposed to thank America! A good start to my day but you really need to get your brain checked up.
By:
lfc1971
When: 14 Dec 16 12:45
Then again some might say that countries like Iraq and Syria need a dictator to keep them under control. Is that so? I don't know, what a strange world it is.
By:
lfc1971
When: 14 Dec 16 12:49
no I said the Iraqis should have said thankyou to America, of course America are wary of setting foot in Syria, so its difficult.
a start would be if the Syrian people asked America for help and then said they would promise to do what America told them they should do
no one likes to be thankful
By:
detraveller
When: 14 Dec 16 12:54
You still need your brain checked. Seriously how do you expect people to thank an army that invaded them based on a lie, and tortured and imprisoned their people, if they weren't already killed.

Should i ask you to thank the refugees for bringing their culture and religion to Europe?
By:
lfc1971
When: 14 Dec 16 13:02
no, not at all in Iraq America managed to overthrow a murderous dictator, with very few casualties or damage to infrastructure. The reaction, mindless violence and killing and destruction across the country that has gone on for years even now.
not good.
now in Syria there is similarity a dictator in power, should he be slowed to stay in power after the example set in Iraq. Well it's Russias problem now, and Syrians and any refugees or can relocate to Iraq or Saudi or Iran or Russia,
By:
dustybin
When: 14 Dec 16 13:02
of course America are wary of setting foot in Syria
You got that right, they look to see if a country has any planes that are remotely like theirs and if the answer is 'yes' they just arm the natives instead.
By:
lfc1971
When: 14 Dec 16 13:06
we will be happy, although surprised, if they decide to maintain their 'culture' in Iraq and Syria and Iran and Saudi.
and we shall maintain ours in Europe
that seems like a good arrangement to me
By:

When: 14 Dec 16 13:06
I dont know if its because they have a dead duck president right now or because they know its lost, but america have been rather meek for a while on this failed coup d'etat.
When they saw russia had a pair of bo llox and were prepared to punch just as hard america kind of vanished behind john kerry.

@lfc1971, In other news, Obama thanked the Saudis for 9/11 because otehrwise Afghanistan would not have been liberated. Palestine continues thanking Israel because otherwise they wouldn't have a shot at freedom. I can also imagine you demanding the chinese to thank America after the americans wage a war in the South China Sea.
By:
lfc1971
When: 14 Dec 16 13:12
It's quite simple, Iraq were given a great opportunity when America overthrew Saddam, all they had to do was say thankyou and get on with building a peaceful and prosperous country. And with americas help it could have been done, it was done in much more devastating circumstances in Germany and Japan  after WW2
By:
lfc1971
When: 14 Dec 16 13:13
The same could be said of Syria today, but can we trust them not to behave like mindless animals? I don't know.
By:

When: 14 Dec 16 13:19
So basically what you are saying is, if the americans invaded the whole world, and the locals tried, there would be prosperity all over the world? Of course we know that the americans in their proud record of waging wars have never invaded a land with any intention other than to bring prosperity.

Do you think it is viable to ask the americans to invade Britain and rid you guys of the imams and their fellows? Sounds like a good deal to me. I can imagine you losing your children in an air raid, being arrested and tortured because you might be in on it with the muslims, or better yet taken to a military base in another country. And then I go to your mother and tell her, well, we liberated you so could we get a thank you card?

I agree detraveller, still lfc1971 is convinced he is right.
What he does not understand is that America and this country do not have the right to just invade countries just because we don't approve who is running them. Lying did not help either.

If people kept their nose clean, they could live a normal life under Saddam.
Also he was strong enough to keep order, which is what the Arabs need.
By:
lfc1971
When: 14 Dec 16 13:27
you're not very good at logical thinking are you detraveller ?
let's put it this way, if I was living in any country that did not have the freedoms that we in Britain enjoy, and that's partly thanks to America, if I was living under a murderous dictatorship such as North Korea and Germany during WW2 and America had the courage and ability to overthrow these mass murderers who can stay in power and pass down their evil regimes over the course of the life of whole families.
Then I would thank them for the rest of my life.
By:
detraveller
When: 14 Dec 16 13:30
No no. You are right. I get it now. The Iraqis should send a thank you letter to the americans(and Europe because we contributed troops). There should be a special mention and thanks for Abu Ghraib.

I wonder why it took the americans 24 years to realize Saddam was evil. Someone must have tweeted about it!

Did you book an appointment?
By:
detraveller
When: 14 Dec 16 13:31
Actually twitter didn't exist back then. Probably some iraqi sent an email. There was no other way the US could know Saddam had been evil for 24 years!
By:
lfc1971
When: 14 Dec 16 13:34
Really, and how long does it take to realise that any dictator is evil. Stalin stayed in power all his life and Mao and the small round madman in NKorea.
The point is it takes tremendous courage to overthrow these regimes.
and it is reliant on the population reacting in a vaguely sane way

By:

When: 14 Dec 16 13:36
OK. Now I have a clear formula.

1. Dictator's are hard to spot but once they are spotted and its decided they are evil...
2. ...America can do the people a favor and invade them...
3. ...provided of course the local population cleans up the mess and rebuilds the country.
By:

What I am really slow at understandg is, how are the Iraqis supposed to thank America? Can anyone help?
