In other words she'll be nice to them, they'll buy their weapons from us and maybe not encourage Moslem nutters to attack the UK.

tbf what is the alternative? Invade them and install Democracy?

That didn't seem to go too well last time, or the time before that, or the time before that, or the time before that... etc...

They are the only credible counterbalance in the region to Iran.

Tell you what, why don't we invade Iran and when that's done we can go and invade Saudi, then Pakistan, then Egypt, the... erm... Russia and China and then we can turn the whole world into one nice big happy Democracy...

... a great big melting pot with coffee coloured people by the score.  Mischief

You do realize that the UK has attacked more Muslim countries than the muslim countries or muslims have invaded the UK? Which muslim nutters do you want the Saudis to not encourage? The refugees?

Only yesterday I was reading that UK has sold the Saudis $5.2bn worth of weapons since 2010. Boris was stupid to talk like that to a buyer. Really stupid.

small fry, yes. But still a buyer.

Even if they belonged to the dinosaur age, fact is they are still big friends with our politicians in Europe. Money talks.
