Just heard on the BBC news that less foreigners want to reside in the UK because they don't feel welcome...well that's a load of bollx ..As long as we advertise ourselves as giveaway Britain then they will continue to flock to these shores regardless of what the majority of the UK citizens might think of them.

Spending life savings to escape war torn countries, only to met with a wall of abuse from people susceptible to rabble rousing nonsense from the likes of Tramp and Farage, wont worry them, they have been through far worse, and met far more intelligent people along the way.

cameron said 10s of thousands but we are taking in over a 100 thousand from outside eu skills as required...and we need to take a share of refugees, hopefully from refugee camps and as family units not those that entered europe via turkey and i wouldnt dicriminate by religion or lack thereof |

You say no discrimination on religion etc but some cultures have 3+ kids per family. Taking a long term view, what is a sustainable population for the UK? 70m, 100m? Given the birth rate of Muslims for example, is it prudent to reduce their immigration into the UK? Current monthly overspend on the public sector is £6+Bn. |

Let's have a mature discussion. What population figure is sustainable? (Take into account current birth rates among the indigenous population, those recently arrived and due to come.) Number per year who will demand more housing, NHS care etc...100k, 300k? Give me a number. Bear in mind govt figures say there are 1.6m unemployed and the housing benefit bill is way over £20bn per year. |

The reason as you know there is no upper limit is cos a limit implies there HAS to be discrimination at some point. At a particular number the 'open borders' brigade have to say 'no more' if they are to have an upper limit. That goes against what they believe so there is no upper limit.. donny - fair enough. questions to ask
do you have a job to start? can you speak our language? do you have somewhere to live? do you have a criminal record in your home country? are you a skilled person, mechanic/plumber/electrician etc. if you have family in your home country, no family allowance will be paid for them, you will not be allowed to claim any benefits for yourself for 5 years. any crime you commit in this country that requires a custodial sentence will mean automatic deportation back to your home country. |
