too early?
Any vegetarians, it's a real artificial tree. No animal fat.
I've had a glass of Bristol Cream (with Mrs mememe - who dressed the tree, so to speak).
I'm feeling in the mood and may well have an After Eight.

I'd love to invite you all round ... I live in Liverpool and have a nice red door and I have just decorated it with fairy lights.  There is a picture of it on another thread.

When you come could I ask you to adhere to a few simple rules?

1.  No singing please, it may upset the rest of the street;

2.  No checking that the fairy on the Christmas tree has got her knicker$ on;

3.  No suggestive comments to Mrs mememe - she suffers from headaches when I make rude suggestions, so I don't know what she'll be like if any of you say anything;

4.  maximum spend on my pressies is £500 - to avoid any embarrassment (I haven't got any of you one yet).

5. No spitting or unwarranted body noises.

That's it.
See you all next week.

Chit-Chat turns up at mememe's gaff.

How many Chit-Chatters can you identify? There's Aunty Post on the left wearing the topper, cannyman is peering through his specs down the front, next to his cat, while Makybe the Minx conducts the pups in the background.

I do like the Christmas season, I'm not mad about New Year's Eve though. I've got pretty much a full house for Christmas dinner, Brothers, Sister, various nephews and nieces and a few randoms popping in for a glass of cheer as well, should be good.
