Finished watching the final series of this superlative French crime drama last night.
It is similar to The Shield , but they take Mackey's views on what the police can and cannot do to handle gangsters to another level.
Awesome programme.

I took a chance on a box-set of Series 1 and 2 a few years back, Quite enjoyed Series 1 but I thought Series 2 became rather silly. Haven't looked beyond that point.
Much prefer the other well-known French policier series "Spiral" where again it's difficult to tell the police from the villains, especially those wearing judicial robes.

Saw episode 1 of series 4 and have just found out they have been on at 3 am!!
