This is part of the softening up process.
This will be unadulterated propaganda.

Al Taqiyya will be the order of the day.

The imams will dictate the pace.  Any western influence will be 'frowned upon'.  I wonder what will happen to those cooperating with the infidels?
I suppose you have to expect this from the BBC after the latest report about the non-integration of muslims in the UK. I suppose it was an accident that this programme came out at the same time - it does help to divert.

I simply love the bit ' labels such as shia and sunni!    LABELS!!!??? They HATE one another.!!!What does anyone think all the killing is about in the middle east.  And then the quote of 2.7 million muslims - where does that figure come from.?

The simple problem is that there is an almighty inherent selection bias.

when trevor phillips made his program: "what muslims really think" we got an idea of some of the views in the insular muslim communities which don't choose to integrate.

So any program of this nature is likely to feature progressive muslims (a contradiction) rather than a house full of deobandis.

maybe its meant by bbc to spark some integration by seeing how folk look
when thrown together

who knows if it will do good, or bad , or neither or if it will be car crash tv

the chit chat clan seem to have decided before its been shown, no change there then

maybe putting tv programs like this will allow debate after its been on
and that might become an issue

maybe it wont, and maybe it will be a carp program

but using the fact its on to trot out the same bigotry is boring

Liberal righteousness for the sake of it is also very boring tbf, and any debate with them about immigration is not possible, they refuse to discuss it.

The problem is that no woman or man from a strict deobandi household would be allowed in this program. And they represent the largest group of muslims in the UK, and have an huge grip on the clerical community and mosques.

the makeup of "contestants" is not representative of the british muslim population. it is diverse and largely progressive, rather than narrow and conservative.

Will they be asked to estimate the age of the universe, and comment on the remarkable genetics we share with apes. Or if the night flight to Jerusalem on a winged chariot actually happened?

Because if it was a Christian group they would be asked if they believe in the virgin birth and that a dude was alive two days after being clinically dead. For real. Stuff which no-one seriously believes.

The only religions I respect any longer are the Church of England and the Ahmadis which are basically communities of atheists hoping they are wrong.

You have got to get into your heads that Islam doesn't like you.

Islam considers you an infidel, considers its their duty to conquer and convert.

They have an ally in the Left in their hatred of Western culture and history.

You will hear the excuse that its only radical Islam but radical Islam is Islam.
The Koran is radical.
The mix up occurs when people are talking about lapsed Muslims, please remember that those drinking ordinary Muslims will be the first to get it when the real boys take power.
By:

A better program would be a series which takes a group of progressive and moderate islams and has them present their world views and beliefs to a group of imams who are representative of the mosques in the UK.

Never a truer word. Immigration is not a bad word, it has been good for the UK until recently. Many from different cultures and ethnicity's have enhanced our country until the arrival of Islam in numbers.

That is why there are right wing views, the ordinary man in the street can see it but it's a shtum subject. It cannot be discussed.

Islam is a vile religion, it wants to take over. It's in the book.

Christianity can be just as vile, just look at the Crusades - but while Christianity preaches turn the other cheek, Islam preaches kill the Infidel.

It has no place in the 21st century but those that criticise it tend to fall by the sword and why moderate Muslims don't speak up.

Vile religion.

i do wonder if it's the case where A,B and C1 encounter more diverse and progressive muslims, while C2/D and E encounter more conservative muslims and both groups believe their own experience is representative, when neither is right.

I dont understand the question. North Africa and Middle east are not at all representative of the muslims. Both regions have a population that is less than the amount of muslims in India alone, which is a nonmuslim country. Less than Pakistan. Less than Indonesia. So asking someone if a society in ME or N Africa represents them doesn't make any sense to me. Also considering that majority muslim population in England comprises of Pakistanis, Indians and Bangladeshis, this question hardly makes any sense.

I was wondering why the forum didn't have any post about muslims for the last few days. What's up??

I met a policeman today who was going back from his 12 hour shift. Asked him if the refugees are still coming and he said why do you think I had a 12 hour shift? His next sihft starts 6 in the morning tomorrow. Same assignment. So the refugees are still coming in, in case anyone thought they had stopped(im talking about germany).

I also read in the news that Britain passed a law a few days ago where the govt does not need a warrant to search through your internet browsing history(MPs excluded of course :D). Of course the justification for this is the talk about terrorism and muslim extremism and similar stuff. So the government allows in muslim refugees, and then takes away your privacy to protect you from the muslims that it invited in in the first place. Do you guys not see where this is going? I had zero doubt in my mind last year that the end game is to have more control over the population(make them run to the govt for protection) and the moment i saw this news, I thought wow, they are doing it quickly.

Thats exactly the problem akabula. You dont have an issue with it because you think there's just too many to monitor. So you are willing to give up your privacy. Tomorrow you'll give up your privacy for some other reason. And all the while the media will keep you fixed on the muslim issue, which shouldnt be the main issue. The main issue should be why Europe invaded 3 countries that were hardly a threat to it, why it then allowed people from those countries and many others in and still continues to offer them refuge and benefits. Instead what the media tells us to talk about is the Koran, muslims, moderates, islamists etc etc.

I don't have an issue with it because I don't have anything to hide.
And if it helps the war against crime and terrorism then I'm all for it.

and thats exactly why the terrorism is being imported into Europe, so that you dont have a problem with the govt controlling you because you believe it helps them fight the terrorism :D
