It's a little tricky.  His brother was a definite schizophrenic who died early. So family history of mental illness.  And indeed he's been in the spotlight re the same. I thought it was just another meal ticket (books, talks, appearances, articles) to keep him in the manner in which he has become accustomed.  Perhaps not. Maybe Blair was protected/aided by a genuinely deranged man.  Makes more sense it you think about it.

The argument about money seems to me always to be about self worth.
The less you believe in your own ability the more engrossed in attempting to garner wealth at all cost.

The fact is money is an unnatural construct that had the best of intentions, namely to leverage the value of perishables during time of famine.
We all know we have to look after ourselves as altruism in all guises eventually fails both in nature and in humans because life is about self preservation.
There is a point however where one can easily determine what is 'enough' and what is superfluous opulence and to mention the likes of murrdoch is to example the latter.

Its a finite economy, if you take more than enough you are creating an uneven 'book' that has to be addressed by somebody else.

I do not think there is a specific link that they are told to say anything per se, it is more a case of voicing the opinions expressed by those who surround you. Just as we have seen the working class vote Labour without thinking and call tories scum,we have the upper class unable to understand why anyone doesn't vote conservative and are thick,the EU supporting community feel they need to ridicule anyone who supports Brexit as uneducated because they dont see things as clearly as their friends/community. Campbell and Blair are just desperate to lead the pack and garner praise from those around them.
