Yes,but there isn't ever much about Horse Racing on BBC..There was a tv drama in the eighties about a couple
of Yorkshire Lads reading the form book and taking the bookies to the cleaners but I haven't managed to hunt
it down could have been deleted from archive.

I thought that the first series of 'Trainer' (Drama Series) aired on Sunday evenings was reasonably good - albeit all fictitious.

The follow-up series, aired mid-week, wasn't as appealing.

I also thought that the theme music was one of Cliff Richard's better songs, too.

You would think there is enough ' rich ' material from horse racing angles, for TV producers to be interested in a new series of drama.
Big Deal was a brilliant example of this .
