I've had the TV on the last few hours in the background and the amount of "Black Friday" adverts is totally driving me nuts!
Why? It's not Black Friday, that's already past, it was last week. It's not a day, it's already a Black Friday 3 week promotional period, and as soon as THAT is over it'll be Christmas, then it'll be the Christmas and New Year Sales. Except THEY now start those before christmas and new year now and Christmas is spent by many shopping for bargains instead of, you know, having Christmas.
So it's like 2 months or more solid of right in your face annoying promotions and one big marketing opportunity, more so than ever.
I think I'll boycott any company that is advertising Black Friday the week after. Or is open for a christmas day sale. **** 'em!
