First episode of David Walliams' new sketch show was on Friday night, with his special guest in show one being Jack Whitehall.

Easily just as bad as watching Russell Howard. I'd say possibly - somehow - even a fraction worse, and definitely worse than Citizen Khan. Watch it. I will be amazed if you can honestly say you laughed even once.

Agree it was awful. I didn't even smile, let alone laugh.

Not a single flicker of a smile the whole show. Stuck with it thinking that there has to be one funny sketch in it, a comedian being paid a fortune and put on primetime tv, but there wasn't.

Love to know what he is being paid for this.

He's a very successful author now, so maybe time to put the comedy to one side.

Still a fan of the big lumix though, how can you not love him?

Roger

You know it has to be bad when it's worse than Citizen Khan. The biggest pile of unadulterated crap ever to hit our screens.

Poor old 'Citizen Khan'. He doesn't half get it in the neck on here. He doesn't even appear to have any white British media commentators pretending to find him funny. Maybe they got a bit fed up with pretending they found 'Goodness Gracious Me' and 'The Kumars' hilarious.

Chit Chat is actually fairly restrained where 'Citizen Khan' is concerned. From some parts of the community the show's creator has actually received utterly disgraceful 'death threats'. On hardly needs add these threats came from Peace-Loving people.

Caught up with the first one, and must say that it wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be by reading the comments on here.

Watched episode 2 last night. Surely they have script editors? Script writers? People who watch it before airing?

There was the potential for humour but it was not realised. Not a single bit that was funny, not a single good punchline.

I watched a few minutes last night, I'm a huge fan of harry enfield but it was some sketch with him playing the queen that was pretty painful?
I switched off mentally and can't even remembr changing the channel Sad.

Missed 1st 1 but Was really looking forward to this as Walliams and Lucas together where brilliant in parts and Harry Enfield loved him as loadsamoney and stavros and brilliant with Whitehouse.

But Walliams and Enfield where dire .Just not funny . Why have they taken on Micahel Mcintyres scriptwriters the, most unfunny guy on TV.
