Item, price, saving, supplier please!

I've just tried to look for a bargain and can't find anything I or any of my family would want - but then I'm not renowned for my shopping.

I know you can Chaser, I actually used to do repairs and conversions on them for many years. We converted loads for Rolls Royce into mobile workshops when they used them for refitting our nuclear subs.

Some amazing homes made out of them - check it out!

I bought a big multipack of toilet rolls for just 1 Rand in Johannesburg earlier today, a saving of 2 Rand.

Ive spent most of the afternoon trying to work out the better deal between virgin and sky  based on the fact I already have broadband and rental phone line pre paid.
They are maggots both of em for making the whole thing as convoluted as possible.
You have to read all the small print to uncrack the riddle, I hate them both with a passion, this is opportunistic Britain that seemingly gives politicians erections.
Report TheChaser November 25, 2016 6:19 PM GMT
who does you phone and internet dusty
Report dustybin November 25, 2016 6:23 PM GMT
virgin, if you do IR its the best option for the latency I find so worth the money (even though the phoneline is from another age (sure you can not take it but you pay more for the internet if you do that, and buying the 12mths pre paid saves you about 30 quid)
Report Ghetto Joe November 25, 2016 6:28 PM GMT
If anyone's got RUK you can ring up and get the subs set for the year at £10 per month instead of the normal £24, says for new customers but they're giving to any customer out of contract. Worth a simple phone call to save £180 on the year

Report dustybin November 25, 2016 6:35 PM GMT
Aye Joe I think weve all had a go on that one.Must remember though you have to cancel it by 25th oct 2017 though or it will bill you full price on a new contract year
Which is obv what they are hoping to do, as well as get us all on a contract again

Got a 3 foot self-inflating pen1s from knobs'R'us for £40 knocked down from £100.

Can't wait to see the mother-in-law's face when she opens up the parcel on Christmas Day... especially because the card is going to make out it's from the wife's sister's husband who is a tw4t. Cool

Remote control Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (Michaelangelo) on a skateboard from Smyths Toys. £70 down to £30. Could get it for £50 elsewhere before, but still, even at £50 down to £30 it's a cracking saving.

Bought my kid a 2nd PC monitor for £69, was on Ebuyer but Amazon price matched.

XBox Live is £25 on Amazon for a year, bought it for my other "kid".

I sat up till midnight last night trying to buy an i3 Laptop for myself for £199. The Dell site crashed Cry and I never bought it.
Report alun2005 November 26, 2016 12:29 AM GMT
Are these things any good? The price seems remarkably cheap.

Not sure I actually want to be seen as one of the sheep staring into one of these on a train, bus (or any other public place in fairness). Alternatively might make a good present though for someone I know.

all a big massive con

bogus pre-discount prices advertised

and any decent deals are "out of stock" the minute you click on it.
Report akabula November 26, 2016 8:03 PM GMT
An excuse to get rid of dated stock.
'Bring ins' which either don't exist or are limited and you end up buying something else.
