don't mention the lottery to me, it's a sore subject, got 5 numbers April 2015, the number I didn't get was a number I wanted to pick but when I only had one left to chose so when for 42 instead of 43, they both came out and 47 was the one that didn't, the next week 47 was the bonus ball, missed out on 6.3million

Lotteries disgust me -a classic illumination of what's amiss with so much of modern life -a sensationalist orgy of lusting after money for nothing...or great reward for doing/producing nothing. Ideal for those who worship in the shrine of greed.

BBC should never have had lottery in the first place. Some big financial back-scratching went on when the lottery was conceived and went to BBC1. Free advert for a big business, crap programmes designed around it, glamorised a very poor bet to millions who don't understand it.
Not that Saturday night TV will become watchable anyway.
