I'm failing to see  how you had a great time?

A cold and deserted Blackpool where you had to go into a shopping centre to warm up. Or to a cafe eating eggs and mushrooms, never seen anyone order just eggs and mushrooms before. No interaction with anyone really, except with whoever served you in the greasy spoon.

How do you love Blackpool after what sounds like a miserable few hours? Looking forward to your reply which will at least be date and time stamped Happy

two good shows seen and an excellent burger of all things

decent hotel on front - breakfast of very good quality

mixed all my favourite drinks, even carried luggage to and from car!!!

vintage trams

and real ale good too

there are dodgy clubs too if you are into that sort of thing

Fleetwood is freezing cold !!!  but I see they drew today!!!(footy)

I should think in November it is rather bare!!!  and very cold on the front!!!
Report Burton-Brewers • November 26, 2016 5:28 PM GMT
I went to see Chubby at the North Pier some years ago, I have never been anywhere that is such an awful advert for British cuisine.
Report mobo • November 26, 2016 5:32 PM GMT
burger late after a real ale cruise  and very decent fish and chips down towards the tram depot

if you are prepared to slum it and not be a snob (which I am about food and drink) and get down to basics you can have a laugh

I think you have to suspend your usual attitude  if you get my drift.

Did you try that casino that is supposed to do decent grub?  It's behind the hotels on the front - fair way out of the center.

Culvin did you really have a good time in Blackpool or did you just make the best of it. There certainly seems to be a lack of other people on your photo's. Next time go to York or even Llandudno - got to be better than Blackpool. Grin

@The_KAMIKAZEE_DRINKING_MACHINE,"Have you ever tried chocolate Culvin?"..I absolutely love choccy and my sweeties but i've not eaten it or them for 6 weeks or so because i decided at about that time to really cut down on my sugar intake because i feel that too much sugar makes me feel depressed.
Report Culvin • November 26, 2016 11:00 PM GMT
@crystalhunt,I LOVED IT!The only thing i didn't really like was the cold.I met and talked to lots of people and everyone i met was friendly to me.I enjoyed being there but i was also glad to leave when i did because i'd been on the go for about 14 hours and i felt exhausted.

These 'care in the community' little chaps are every where these days aren't they?, their 'carers' take them everywhere, in your local spoons, cinema, cafe or anywhere you might have the audacity to go thinking you might get a bit of piece and quiet , now they've got them joining the betfair forum and posting up their inane insanity of some outing or other. It's not their fault, it's the carers I have a problem with, or more their employers.

@crags,As I arrived in Blackpool and got off the coach at 7.30am the first photo I took was of the Bournemouth coach 333 pic...And I took that pic because of an incident a number of years ago that left me blind in my left eye.The number 333 is deeply significant to me.
