getting mugged is in the top 3 of things to do in blackpool, and as a bonus you dont have to do anything but walk around the streets to take part
|

Hi 1st time poster,I don't like the idea of being mugged but i very much like the idea of taking a walk along the beach, checking out the lights and maybe,if i'm lucky, meeting some of the local lovelies. Are you from Blackpool,1st time poster?
|
|
By:
I was there a few weeks ago and it wasn't nearly as big a ****hole as I remember 20 years ago.
Hope this helps. |

You are a bit too late ...
"checking out the lights" ------------- The Illuminations finished on November 6th. Heard somebody talking about being in Blackpool a few months ago - Came out of their hotel around 11pm - having booked at Taxi - said to the Taxi Driver, "Take me to the best bars." "There won't be many open now," replied the Taxi driver - they all shut early. He ended up in Wetherspoons for half-an-hour - Closed at midnight. Could have been worse - Could have ended up in one of the many Gay Bars. |

Lancashire Police is seeking information after Strictly Come Dancing pro Gorka Marquez was assaulted following filming in Blackpool.
The 26-year-old dancer was reportedly attacked by a group of youths on Saturday as he walked to a nightclub with colleagues from the BBC series. He is undergoing dental surgery after two of his front teeth in his lower jaw were badly chipped. The incident has not been reported to the police. The force said: "Lancashire Police have contacted the BBC to establish the details of the incident to allow us to investigate further." |

the sane almost normal people in blackpool are the ones walking round wearing plastic tits and plastic knobs,if you meet anyone not wearing one of the above treat them with caution

Also in Blackpool this weekend Peter Kay got sexually assaulted and Judge Rinder was on the end of a homophobic joke.

I quite like the idea of visiting a sleazy nightclub but that wont be happening because i'll arrive in Blackpool at 7.30am and then leave for Liverpool about 10 hours later.

Blackpool is very beautiful at this time of year Culvin, the nights are nice and chilly and the stars shimmer never mind the lights.
There are many things to do and many beautiful women, you may meet someone new. It is so nice to relax you may have to book a hotel room, the rooms are very clean, get up late and you don't have to worry about anything in Blackpool. |
|
By:
Thanks!lfc1971...Theres no turning back now.Blackpool here I come.

do you like guessing games? well you could try guessing which outlet will not give you food poisoning. If you like something more strenuous, you could always try triple jumping over the puddles of spew. Fishing perhaps? that will be easy just dip your maggot anywhere to catch crabs by the bucketload. FFS man at least use your loaf and go to Fleetwood.

Don't forget to sort out the date stamp on your camera. Very easy to do, but if you can't work it out Google the model or look in your manual if you've kept it.
Cheers ![]() |

@xmoneyx,I'd love to meet a real filthly, raunchy landlady but unfortunately that won't be happening because i won't be staying anywhere.I'll arrive at 7.30am and leave at 6pm...Over 10 hours is more than enough time to have a good all look around.I like meeting people and i feel i'm gunna meet some right characters.
|
|
By:
@Burton-Brewers,If i do see that sign Burton, then i will indeed pop in and say hello and i'll also pass on to Northern Lad a special message sent to him from Burt.

10 hrs in blackpool in late november is probably 9 hrs to many, most peoople would probably drive along the front and not get out of the car,15 mins for wet fish and chips and take a big bag of old pennies to put in the arcades for 9 hours
|
|
By:
It is well-known that filthy, raunchy landladies are very busy during the mornings doing breakfasts and check-outs, maybe a bit of dusting and put a plunger down a toilet bowl or two.
Always got an hour or two spare in the afternoon, Culvin. |
|
By:
Thanks for the info Jack.I won't be dusting but I hope I get a chance to use my Plundger.

Arguably the roughest place in the UK due to a huge number of HMO tenants placed in Bed & Breakfast accommodation there. People from all around the North West in the need of Emergency accommodation are put in the HMO's. Invariably these are druggies and the dregs of society.
To be avoided at any time. Complete shiit hole. |
