Remember to buy a turkey with real giblets this festive season -- why not try giblets with bacon on boxing day? With buttered toast...

Yeah, don't forget the gizzards and neck and everything...Mischief

Valasquez - better still make gravy with all the giblets - in general the better the turkey the more likely you are to get the valuable bits and bobs.

nb - you need more than one Turkey to get gizzards as they tend to only have one each. HthWink.

Hee hee...well at least the gravy sounds plausible.

Neck, liver, heart and gizzard are the best bits. Eat them yourself and leave the rest of the bird to family and guests.

I'm not even having Turkey, The most overpriced, bland, dry meat there is. Nothing to do with cooking either. I've had it at xmas in top places and its always been the same. Give me chicken, gammon or beef over it anyday.

We actually have chicken (capon) and gammon most years, with a rib of beef for a big new years day dinner.
