All we hear from the SNP is moaning about Brexit and cries for Independence. How are they actually doing with regard to running their own country... Transport, Healthcare and Welfare. How is their general governance?
NHS a shambles with 7 out of 8 key targets not met in the latest report. Transport a shambles with trains not running on time, road repairs ignored and a new Forth crossing 6 months behind schedule despite being on course only 1 month earlier. Not too good at maths or the truth are the SNP. BTW the train operators tried to get round the delays by failing to stop at some stations. Police at it's worst staffing levels for 10 years and the new combined force failing the public because of a lack of forward planning. Education no better and league tables scrapped because Scotland were so bad compared to the rest of the UK.
Apart from that and as Mac says "We've never had it so good".

Sounds like you're on the right track. "It is estimated that drug misuse costs society £3.5 billion a year whilst the impact of alcohol misuse is estimated to cost £3.6 billion a year - combined, this is around £1,800 for every adult in Scotland".
NHS Scotland is hitting one out of the eight key performance targets set by the Scottish Government.
Too many patients are waiting too long for hospital appointments, operations and cancer treatment according to ministers' own standards.
Public spending body Audit Scotland said health boards were finding it "increasingly difficult" to deliver some of the pledges - noting the targets had become more challenging at the same time as the squeeze on public finances.
That was from the Herald. I'll post a link.

Scotland's public spending deficit stood at just under £15bn in the past financial year amid plummeting oil revenues. Official Scottish government statistics showed the country spent £14.8bn more than it raised in taxes in 2015/16, including a share of North Sea revenue. That figure represented a 9.5% share of GDP, the report said - more than double the 4% figure for the UK as a whole.

What has that to do with the league tables I mentioned. Your post is about quantity rather than quality. Where did you get those figs btw. 142,000 college places have been lost because of the SNPs policies on education. So I'd be very surprised if they were recent.

A couple of points on this post GOT. 1 We have the worst %age deficit in the developed world. 2 9.5% is nearly 3 times the acceptable figure for EU membership. (ie any applicants above their figure are automatically barred from joining which tells you that all Nicki posturing on the matter is nothing but grandstanding)

Scotland has made the elementary mistake of electing a left wing nationalist government, when what is needed is a right wing nationalist government. If Scotland wants independence, it needs a new way, the leftist policies of the SNP will be a disaster.

spokesperson, Alex Salmond MP, has mocked the procession of top Tories on the BBC Radio 4 Today programme who called on the Prime Minister to abandon the Supreme Court Appeal because of the "risk" that Scotland might be awarded "some rights"
Mr Salmond said:
"Sir Oliver Letwin and co. have now blurted out the true blue Tory attitude towards Scotland. They would even rather abandon the Brexit appeal than take any chance of the Supreme Court being sensitive to Scottish-European concerns.
"Every Tory in Scotland should cringe with embarrassment as the Tory contempt for Scotland's rights as a nation has been laid bare.
"The trouble for the Tories in Scotland is that their Westminster colleagues have been caught telling the truth about their anti-Scottish prejudices."

That airgun license thing is probably going to get a lot of innocent but disinterested people into serious trouble.
What else do you expect from the SNP, total control freaks. They want devolving all powers to Scotland but also at the same time like taking powers back from the councils, they want all powers in their own dirty hands.
They are putting up council tax on higher bands even if the councils don't want it - THEN taking new money back from the cash starved councils back to central government to spend on things to make the SNP look good! That's hardly a local tax, is it, it's the precise opposite.
