SF I opened an account with bet365, before sleep last night, deposited £100 in part (mainly) because of the match my deposit offer, placed about £50 in irish lotto bets (main reason for opening the account, everyone else seems to win on this), lost the rest needlessly. but thought the next few months dabble on the irish lottery was covered Than woke up to see my emails.......

SF This seems to include the opening account offer.
Scott D I can see that these restrictions were on a previous account that you held with us. Where these restrictions are applied to an account, any new accounts created will also carry the restrictions.

SF If so, I've forgotten about it, and I apologise, But as for being restricted, I don't understand that, I never win!!!

SF I honestly cannot remember having one If I did it was at least 8 years ago and barely used and definitely not profitable

SF Well, I'm not really fine to keep using this one as there are 'restrictions' on it and telephone betting is banned to me for some reason.

SF Don't worry about it Scott. If the "trading team" feel I'm worthy of such attention, then they've probably done Bet 365 out of some (a little) profit and I, (a) won't lose any sleep over it, and (b) won't use Bet365 any more. Oh, and i'll spread the word.

You didn't get a union jack up on World cup qualifiers for 10p a line did you SF?
I've barely used them.... The only thing I can think of, is that Del had an account which was limited as it was quite successful, albeit on specials and had nothing to do with me and was years ago. And at the time they tied in the IP Address or something or perhaps I logged in on her computer - I can't remember ever using them. Other than that, a mystery. We've moved twice since then and I have a different bank card so they must be going on DOB!
Based on my lack of success on the few bets I've had there can be no reason at all for putting any restrictions on me.
It happened at BF too a year or so back when I wanted a bet on the sportsbook, but, to their credit, after some phone calls and complaints the "Traders" actually changed their minds (which I'm told, is unheard of) and allowed me full rein to lose as I please.
This approach to bookmaking should be made public, imo. They only want proven losers and take no risks. Again, in yet another way, the Gambling Commission is useless and should do what it says about policing "Fair gambling".
