anxious, ironically it is people like you and the fool UB who will end up guaranteeing a Hard Brexit. You will not accept that which has been decided. It would be a million times better for you if you did.

We waited patiently for the question to be asked. We answered it. If you can't see that your filibustering, your whinneying, your general lack of grace about the whole issue will just make it worse, then you will have to find out the hard way.

The people of England have demanded Brexit, and we will have Brexit. If we have to separate from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to bring it about, and you ask us again if we would still demand Brexit, we will.

The people of England have spoken. The genie is out of the bottle.

1m Scots also voted for Brexit and even more so voted to remain in the Union in fact only 38% of the electorate vote to leave so I don't think Scotland is going anywhere for the foreseeable future.

She was a Remainer, which is why people were concerned of a stitch up
her being PM.
nice to hear her being friendly towards Sir Donald in her speech.

There is no Europe anxious, the whole idea is dead. You just haven't cottoned on to the fact yet.

There has been no benefit to England anyway - if there had been, the very people who were inveigled into joining in the first place would not have come out in far greater numbers than any other demographic to correct their mistake.

But as I said, it's all moot. Being in or out of a defunct institution is academic.

We, the people of England - the ones who hadn't spoken yet - have killed the European dream. All that remains is for Marine to tear out its heart.

That's how you feel though anxious about the great man

I think the Donalds a breath of fresh air, there's no risk, he has very
experienced people around him.

If Clinton got in nothing would change, apart from benefiting herself,

this man don't need money, he'll try to make changes to help the little people
+ control borders & stop the likes of Sadiq Khan entering the country! Wink

Only joking  "extreme vetting"

Ron your entitled to your opinion but the guy has no experience of politics, no experience of responsibility , the kind of people he has around him from what I have seen are just as unstable as himself, I hope  that when the pressure is really on that he doesn't do something really crazy

Trump will do business with Putin...it will be tough business, but it will be business.

I do not rate Politicians myself, I think they are the ones who have got us into trouble. They are too obsessed with ideologies,

rather than good government which is their job.

I think Trump is a natural leader and ideal for the job.

I could with lived with Bernie Sanders, but Mrs Clinton would have been very bad, it was important she did not win.

Just my own opinion, feel free to disagree.

Re the subject matter of this thread...why are the Progressives rioting?

I see no condemnation from the Democrats who were defeated in a democratic election a few days ago.

When I see such protests/violence (June 24th comes to mind here..) it reassures me that the right call was made.

Basically, they don't like democracy. Irony innit.

the fact he is not a politician was the appeal for many people anx, I also would dispute your theory he has no experience of responsibility
By:

When: 11 Nov 16 17:12
Oh it probably was his greatest appeal that he wasn't a politician burton , but lets not got carried away here the vote was very close and I think she will end up winning the popular vote, the only thing the election proves is that America is divided
By:

I know it hurts you but the popular vote is irrelevant, I didn't need to see an election to know the US is divided The Baltimore Star has been calling it for years.

A fact that a lot of Hillary supporters want to ignore. That blonde harpie on Question time cut off the guy who tried to make that point last night. Surely it's a good thing that a person doesn't need to have come from a political background and have half a billion in campaign funds in order to become president.

All this 'divided' nonsense...

2 candidates. One wins, one doesn't. Of course the nation is divided!

The democrats can react to it in one of 2 ways. An old, black army vet said this on the news:

'I voted democrat but once the commander in chief is chosen we need to get behind him'.

OR

You can start fires and throw things at the Old Bill.

It is the same shock and disbelief that greeted Brexit. A political elite that had no idea what the People felt because it stopped giving a **** decades ago and a liberal, monied elite above the effects of the mass importation of cheap labour and thus ignorant of the resentment it foments.

It is also a direct result of the abandonment of the working class by the Political Left. You didn't need a degree in psephology to look at the Brexit map of England and see the swathes of Labour territory which ended up swinging the entire Brexit vote. The Democrat states turned Right, as had the former Labour communities of the North.

All their certainties have been smashed, their right to govern ripped away when they thought it was immutable. This disorder is their bile and spite that their credo has been well and truly rejected.

They will not stop. The forces of Remain will not stop.

And when Brexit is half-a*sed, and Trump fails to deliver on his promises, the majority - and let there be no doubt that they are a majority, in both countries - will be even angrier than they were in 2016.

Vive La Revolution.

Great post Jed.

anxious - many on the right of politics including millions of Trump supporting Americans and Brexiteers long for the Democrats/Labour to return to their core values.

Corbyn is anti EU because he's opposed to big business relying on and then exploiting a huge low paid workforce.

Sadly he sided with his party and the Unions who bizarrely wanted to Remain.

Trump is a result of the Clintons and Obama. All the talk should be on why the Clintons are so despised and why Obama was ignored. Every single person wants a leader who can govern successfully and be of sound judgement. Obama called it wrong on Brexit and Trump. That's poor.
