When Governments stop making people so unhappy that they choose potential turmoil over more of the same old shyte. I asked studyform if he thought the people's anger would simply go away if they continued to be ignored, he ignored the question.

if this goes t1ts up those who followed the fascist bandwagon should be held accountable.....lets start with farage.

Why do you think Farage is a fascist G1?
Promoting direct democracy couldn't be further away from fascism.

If you are calling those who are opposed to forced integration fascists, then maybe you need to question your own internal dialogue.

The big danger would be the Ukraine joining the EU and Russia being martially annoyed.
Then we have the dangers from Turkey.

These pro EU youths are extremely blinkered regarding future warning signs.

bs.

turkey will not be allowed to join the eu and you know it.

ukraine is a different kettle but thats off the agenda now as russia stepped in.

i dont want ukrainian gangs marauding around europe selling drugs....and im sure they urged their government to seek entry.

thing is ukraine has huge natural resources and the eu knows having them in the eu would benefit the eu massively by not having to pay tariffs on them.

but thats a no goer as russia basically have blocked it.

'Direct democracy' is nothing more than a euphemism for protectionist principles.
No democracy exists within a vacuum. Everything has a knock on effect, turn the screw all you like to try and better a parochial lot but economies are linked and it's coming back to haunt you.

So trump either meets non of his rhetoric and becomes the same as the ones before or he stands by what he got elected for and all the hicks moan when they have to pay 100 dollars upwards more for their iPhones.

G1, just over half our population were unhappy. Your half thought they should shut up and put up with it, no discussion. No one knows how this will play out, but now it is your turn to be unhappy, shut up and get on with it. Not a very nice position to be in, is it.

Saddo, it's an error to think you get the cake and to eat it, a huge part of Brexit relies on others, the determination of them to allow forms of trade to continue without immigration.
It's all about asking to have more things you want and less you don't and is heavily dependent on whether they see themselves as existing for your benefit.
We shall see how well that works out.
As we shall see how much trump attempts to play the strong arm internationally trying to do much the same.
I'd guess not much.

as with  brexit the losers dont seem to want to try and find some of the answers that might help those who think they,ve been left behind, they just bang on about the country been split doesnt seem to resonate with them that the country would have been split down exactly the same lines if clinton had won,as in brexit their answers seems to be that those millions missing out is the price they have to pay, so those who are doing ok can jog on by muttering nothing to see here

I don't think I've got anything dusty, but as brexit showed, you ignore half a nation at your peril.

Dusty bin is correct and admitting that Remainers will continue to stamp their feet in an attempt to thwart any progress regarding leaving the EU.

Leavers really are up against it, if they want to end free-movement.

to me it seems as if the losers in both countries (US & UK) just want to stir up trouble

I note the 'civil war' comments by Bonny Greer on sky last night and the comments and past demos of remainers and now the demos of losing democrats  - people talk about the fascism on the right but neither remainers nor democrats in the US seem to accept the democratic process anymore and want civil disorder instead.

The vote didn't got the way they wanted in the US so now it is fires and demos around the states - yeah some right wing fascists eh???  Aren't they?

By:

When: 10 Nov 16 11:03
you talk of fascism - have you seen the demos and fires in the US on sky news - cannot accept the democratic vote so let's burn and demonstrate and create a crisis - lets cause chaos - and people have the nerve to talk about fascism from the right when it is the democrats who are showing signs of subverting democracy
By:

People really are over egging all of this.
This is down to a simple equation and that isn't about giving the people what they think they want (in the form of anti establishment) it's about how the process is so deeply flawed that it sells insidious venacular and blatant lies that will never be implemented how the electorate believed.
It's all well and good saying the democratic process means the one time a person gets to vote they shape the outcome, but the information given relative to the pitiful choice means the result bares no resemblance.
Whether it's an 18bn in cuts that the Tories refused to define as to where the axe would fall, or the lies about funding and scaremongering for Brexit or now the nonsense about walls and tariffs under trump, it's all mandates gained in false pretence.

Even if Trump is sincere in his anti Globalisation stance you have to wonder how much he will actually get done when he is one man in a Pro Globalisation party, not to mention an infinitely sized bureaucracy nearly all of which I'm guessing didn't want him to become Prez.
