BBC start the economic news segment talking about "sharp falls"...

despicable broadcasting once again by the BBC

So they announced a rise in the market as a "sharp fall"?

Having watched the "economic" reporting nearly all day, I think the BBC has covered it well.   The sharp falls (and rises) were reported clearly and accurately. The Dollar fall against the Pound, the pre opening market falls, the rise in Gold etc etc etc, followed by reverses across most if not all categories were clearly stated.    Still each to his own!!

Yes saddo, the markets initally dropped then recovered to an acutal rise. The BBC spun this into the headline of "sharp falls".

ITs exact same as brexit, ftse dropped, they gave it massive coverage, it then shot up, and they ignored it.

the headlines should be FT shake off worries about us election and rise,not theres been sharp falls on the stock market
