It was on Sky News, I'm telling you the stats that Sophie Ridge provided.

67% of white people with no college degree voted for Trump.

58% of white people overall for Trump

65% Hispanic for Clinton
65% for Asian for Clinton

Just because you don't have a degree that doesn't make you stupid, but obviously it means you are less educated, that is hardly an insult but saying it the way it is, I thought you were all for that?Crazy

Someone who is educated usually means they're in possession of communication skills or special knowledge of a single subject.

Take them off their pet subject and they flounder like the everyone else would.
Education has little to do with good judgement which is a different thing altogether.

Not that I'm knocking education.

Simply that it can cost you dear to underestimate those who haven't had any.
And even worse, too overestimate those who have.

the great unwashed are more likely to have suffered economically under the export of their jobs abroad over the last 8 years under obomber

they ain't stupid that's for sure

you see - commentators /tv/news etc ignore these people - they are unlikely to be invited on to tv programmes, discusions or as individuals to comment alongside the expert pollsters, commentators, sky news(what the papers say)  etc

tv news sings from the same hymn sheet with its narrow agenda - never mention immigration or muslims
never mention the eu promoting globalism and moving production from one country to another
small editorial groups decide what you will be fed on your box

the same applies in the states - the people have told them what they think of what has been done to them

At least Trump calls a spade a spade, though as president he'll have to take some classes on public speech. He's got tme till Jan.

He targeted these voters including those that don't usually don't bother to vote and they turned out in their droves to support him.

Trump won because hillary is a monster.

the democrats never saw the hypocrisy and dishonesty in trying to lecture people into voting for their monster on the basis that trump was a bigger monster.

on top of that, the emotional vote doesn't care if their candidate is a monster, so long as he (seemingly) listens and sympathizes with them.

had brexit not happened you could forgive the democrats for being the first to find this out. Brexit was such an blatant lesson, and it makes clinton's loss a shocking example of stupidity and reckless complacency.

I'm reporting the official statistics, most white men without a college degree voted for Trump.
----------------

What the hell does, "without a college degree," have to do with it?

Almost every teenager who can open it's eyes every morning, in Britain, gets a degree nowadays.

- and what are those degrees worth - out there in the big wide world?
- Not a lot, because they've ALL got the same one, because the exams have been made too easy.

Were I an employer, interviewing prospective workers - I wouldn't be asking them what, mostly, artificial, "college degree," they had ....

I would be firing some Mental Arithmetic questions at them (NO calculator allowed) - along with some Spelling tests.

Basic building blocks, basic common sense.... not artificial academia.

If females , immigrants and minorities were as outraged as we were constantly told , how come Mrs Clinton has been wiped out ?

There couldn't possibly be any sexism in these communities in their voting pattern ?

from the guardian

just came across this , from The Baffler (editors Thomas Frank and Susan Faludi)
"This is also a story of dumbfounding centrist liberal condescension, born of the placid assurance that the difference-trimming forces of Clintonism are simply on the right side of history and that the unswayable logic of demographic diversity will ratify what all good enthusiasts of postideological meritocracy already know: that the nation’s best, brightest, most connected administrators of state power are destined always to carry the day"
It seems to me that the self-serving, self-absorbed, self-satisfied "centrist liberals" in this country too deserve a come-uppance.
The "lesser of two evils" rationalisation has wrought havoc with sensible politics in this country- well, dontcha know, the centre-right (!!!) Tories are pretty bad, the centre-centre LibDems are dead ducks, bit the horrible, wicked, Corbynistas have spoilt our game since they are unkind the rather nice Blairites.
We may be doomed to not-really-centre Right rulers for eternity.
They will, no doubt, subscribe to TTIP, CETA etc etc and , above all, perhaps, support the world-wide mission of NATO to bring civilisation and- as an extra- prosperity to all. The chavs simply are deplorable.
