Why are they all so proud of doing this; yee haah! m not a Clinton fan by the way.

I could go into volumes but this is just a hobby for him.  He is already proud about the size of his dick! I would be happy with his bank balance, however I am no meglomaniac and don't to be anywhere near that 'button'.

Followers evangilistic stuff, how many braincells in question? Can't believe this

Once the xenophobia/tribalism has gone, there's nothing left.

To answer the original Q. It's a no-brainer.
Report akabula November 9, 2016 7:25 AM GMT
How is wanting to protect your borders xenophobic?
Report STUDYFORM November 9, 2016 7:32 AM GMT
Do you, akabula, or anyone else who says it, actually know what this poxy, pathetic little soundbite "protect our borders" means?
I don't think anyone does.

Yes, it is xenophobic and is a phrase concocted to elicit patriotism (which serves no purpose for the poor, btw) and gain power under false pretences.

North Korea has well protected borders. I would suggest that more is needed to make it a good place for its people.
Report wildmanfromborneo November 9, 2016 7:37 AM GMT
You know little of history.
A country that doesn't guard its borders will lose its country.

The people who want open borders are the bankers and plutocrats, they have an agenda to in their words to smash the nation state.

It would seem as though the intelligentsia were largely backing clinton.

yet none of these bright sparks understood the appeal of trump and the revulsion felt towards hillary.

A better candidate from the democrats, and trump wouldn't have stood a chance. Trump won because so many people hate hillary.
Report akabula November 9, 2016 7:42 AM GMT
You always put yourself forward as the only person who knows the truth.
In this country people of differenrt races live comfortably together so I fail to see how you can label a fair %age of the people as xenophobic.
Nobody crying for them to be thrown out.
Protecting your borders could have many meanings but tmm it's having a say on the numbers and suitability of the immigrants.
Note I'm talking about immigrants and not refugees.
Report Ibrahima Sonko November 9, 2016 7:43 AM GMT
very true, they should had been able to vote for non of the above.
Report STUDYFORM November 9, 2016 8:06 AM GMT
True, DStyle.
I'm not the only person who says what I say, akabula.
I'm just one of not many on this forum.

People of different races would live more comfortably together if race (and religion and colour) were never mentioned.
Note, I'm suggesting positive discrimination is as bad as negative.

There's plenty to go round, (land, food, money) especially in the US. But if those with everything don't want to relinquish any of it and instead point everyone who's unhappy in the direction of the reason for their unhappiness, they'll go there and those with everything will walk off quietly whistling to themselves in the other direction

Whilst this is true, the same can easily be said for the Republicans, if they had put forward a better candidate than Trump against Clinton, they would have won by a landslide because both candidates are so disliked.

A major part of relationship counselling concentrates on each partner acknowledging that whilst you may disagree with someone, you have to acknowledge the supremacy and unarguable legitimacy of how they feel.

the moment you start telling people what to do, or imply that they're wrong, they shut up.

that's the problem with obama, clinton, brexit, the lot.

their message to the very people they were trying to swing is that they are wrong, This in turn is an attack on their feelings, so they ignore any message.

the step is to acknowledge that how they FEEL is legitimate. that you're not unsympathetic. that, maybe, you may be to blame for how they feel. then they might be receptive.

Only allowed in because he had a trade that was needed.

Complete drivel and you know it. Plenty of unskilled people emigrated to Canada in the 60s. Two friends of my family who were taxi drivers in Edinburgh became Canadian bus drivers ffs.

All the liberals were loving the "Arab Spring" revolutions, even though the region has since gone medieval and they are still slaughtering each other years later. Two major democracies vote peacefully for change-despite mass propoganda- and they simply cannot accept it.

No established country and no economy can cope with mass immigration. It is pointless to compare America in the 19th and 20c to today. It is simply not possible in the modern world, America cannot do it, Britain cannot, the great European countries cannot.

A new country can absorb large numbers of people, it does not matter so much if they are unskilled. The vast majority of people are pretty much the same. It is a totally different thing now.

Regarding vote rigging/admin errors...

Have a friend in Colorado who was sent TWO voting forms...

Only her honesty prevented her from voting twice.

Very common apparently.

Agree with DStyle - lecturing people works if you have a track record of being right. Once you start getting things wrong you lose credibility and people will do the opposite of what you say.

We await the liberals either side of the Pond to admit they are getting a hell of a lot wrong...

and what evidence do you have for this?

germany and to a lesser degree us avoided the slump many of the eu countries encountered post subprime because our populations stemmed growth.

the same growth which boomed the economy before hand.

Poland was the only country in Europe to avoid the slump, they exported millions of workers, not imported.
Mass immigration does not and cannot create growth, there has to be a creative and inventive country first to create the need for new labour, the cart cannot go before the horse .

Simple. Mass immigration and free public services are incompatible. Scarce resources means more net-takers and fewer net-contributors = huge budget deficit.
