Voters in California and Massachusetts have endorsed the recreational use of marijuana in state-wide polls.
The votes, which took place alongside the presidential election, legalises growth and consumption of cannabis for those over 21 years old.
Other states polling voters about recreational use included Arizona, Maine, and Nevada, where results are not yet known.
People in Florida and North Dakota, meanwhile, legalised medicinal use.
