The UK will still be able to form trade deals with the rest of the world without EU interference.
It will just be the EU transactions which will be EU regulated.

Also we will be able to move away from the corrupt Common Agricultural Policy.
Stop benefits for EU migrants
Regulate employment agencies for the benefit of UK workers.
And more.......

Not my ideal scenario as a Leave voter, but i won't be crying into a glass half empty if it happens.

Plus if it isn't what the people want, then there will be connected General Elections in the future.

A bit about Norway acquiesce

The Norwegian economy has been a success outside of the EU. In the run-up to the referendum in 1994, the Yes campaign warned of recession and unemployment if Norway stayed outside of the EU. More than 20 years on it is quite clear that these warnings were false. Today, Norway is trading more than ever with EU countries and with the rest of the world. Unemployment in Norway is at a much lower level than in most European countries.

Because Norway are outside the Common Agricultural Policy, Norway is free to maintain an agricultural policy in accordance with local needs. Outside the Common Fisheries Policy, Norway is free to find the best balance between coastal fishing and offshore fishing. That way our fisheries can benefit coastal communities and create employment.

See, there are many benefits of what we call the soft Brexit.

Why the f*** are you banging on about Norway, you're missing the whole phucking point.

I am talking about IMMIGRATION, because that's all the chit chat right wing massive have been talking about for YEARS.

And you have been BETRAYED, you wanted strict immigration control, you are not getting it with access to the single market, one of the four principles cannot be broken.

Since you mention NORWAY, Norway also has to accept free movement of people, no right wing looney can have their cake and eat it.

FFS you give one topic and they deflect attention by mentioning anotherLaugh

The Norwegian Remainers played the same game.

No deflection, just expansion.

I'm surprised I occupy your mind even when I'm neither anywhere to be seen, nor Germany or refugees are the topic or have been mentioned.

As for the wall. That was built. It's one one side of the area where the refugee housing area faces a bunch of resident houses. The official reason is noise protection (that's why it's only on one side of the grounds and nowhere near closed), but maybe those seven residents that went to court to get the wall built just didn't wanna see happy ball playing black kids every morning when looking out of the window. Who knows?

In general though I have to say the Free State of Bavaria and its citizens have done by far the best job out of all states in Germany in taking care of refugees. Massive noise protection wall or not, they deserve a lot of praise.

Maybe I should add that grumpy old men have always hated good blonde white kids playing football in their neighbourhoods as well ever since I can remember. Sports clubs are closed and walls are built everywhere (Berlin built a nice 5m wall a while ago)

Them miserable gits just can't stand the thought of happy kids.

Poland is enticing it's workers back with propaganda and incentives.
There will be a natural balance once we stop all the in/out work benefits and regulate recruitment agencies.

That way our fisheries can benefit coastal communities and create employment.

There would be plenty of fish for your coastal communities even now if your government didn't licence about half of the UK's entire quota to foreign big fishery business.

You mean bungling EU beaurocrats and limp wristed UK politicians supporting the big industrialised vessels over the many small traditional vessels? Those historical quotas handed out have been up for grabs to the highest bidders....

Out of the EU there is nothing stopping our mini crew vessels from being freed up.
By:
edy
When: 07 Nov 16 21:40
Apart from your government enacting own quotas and selling those limited quotas to the highest bidders from abroad.

In an earlier discussion with someone on this forum it turned out that e.g your government called for the EU to set emergency quotas on the great and highly popular fish that is the sea bass. I don't see them allowing much higher quotas, if at all, than have been set by the EU. They seem to be very conscious to the danger of hurting your fish populations beyond repair.
By:
ZenMaster
When: 07 Nov 16 21:48
It's more to do with the quotas going further and protecting our depleted crews from traditional fishing communities.
Dutch super vessels taking more than 20% of the UK quotas and the small UK fleets only allowed to fish on their doorsteps and only allowed to catch sustainable nets, then there is room for a fairer system.

This is what is lost on this island, the relisation that EU regs are in place for long-term good.
The Sun, The Daily Mail and Express each have min two stories every day with one message: the EU is bad. With combined sales of 3 1/2 daily, that amonts to 30 billiondisparaging reports against the EU since the right-wing campaign began.Britain's gullibility is its tragedy. What do right-wingers gain from a bonfire of regulations? Give your heads a shake..

it is.

One thing has always bedazzled me about people that claim to hate the establishment, big business and whatnot however. I know you are a big fan of Farage and conservative politics, so maybe you can explain something to me.

Why do so many people that claim to hate the establishment keep going to the Tories and their splinter party UKIP, heck even sometimes strongly oppose social democrats? Conservatives stand more than anyone else for the things these people claim to hate so much. The conservaties are the people that went to posh expensive fee-paying schools (52% of conservatives in parliament, 17% Lib Dems, 14% Labour). They are the ones with a history in banking (25% of tories in parliament, 4% labour). They are the ones overwhelmingly having attended the little elite establishment Oxbridge colleges (45% tories in parliament, 14% labour, 13% lib dems).

So...what actually gives? All that anti-establishment talk is just to give the bullshit some nicer paint, isn't it?

I would have thought that apart from a dozen or so, that the whole of parliament fits the description of establishment. Those who aren't in banking have mainly legal training, or were previously aides to the whole stinking heap.  Leaving the odd ex mine worker or engineer as rarities.  Fk me - nearly all the Labour PLP are so removed from most wage and salary earners - don't get me started on the tory lot.

It is a giant club - sign on to the gravy train.

I strongly disagree with the OP....that is one thing we do not need, except in certain skilled professions

where we are short ourselves.

That is why I voted for Brexit.

If leaving the EU is that damaging to us...then Cameron should not have offered a referendum should he, after all he was paid

to run this country.
