I know it's daft but me and my missus were shouting run, run run at the iguana getting chased by the snakes....truly brilliant programme.
Report Barton Bank November 6, 2016 9:55 PM GMT
Fortunately it was up against the snake equivalent of the "pathetic sharks".
Report mokegibboni November 7, 2016 3:12 AM GMT
Yes, first class TV viewing. Camera drones have been a godsend for this type of programme. I imagine that the BBC are saving themselves a fortune for not having to hire out full size helicopters for the aerial photographic work!

Report scandanavian_haven November 13, 2016 9:02 PM GMT
Those mountain goats have a death wish.

Wasn't overawed with the show although some nice shots.

I don't like it when towards the end they go into look how we made this mode, showing behind the scenes footage of para-gliders, helicopters and what the director was thinking, nobody cares about that, it's a wildlife nature show, show the wildlife, makes it feel like they are just filling up the time by doing that.

Tbh so far it's nothing out of the ordinary that I haven't seen on National Geographic on any other week.
Report Facts November 14, 2016 3:49 AM GMT
Brilliant programme.Truly staggering images of wonderful  animals in beautiful surroundings .
The filming of the Snow Leopard was awesome.
Don't agre with you at all  s_c. You will definitely not have seen shots like these of the Snow Leopard or of the iguana/snakes in last weeks episode, on National  Geographic, or any other programme.

You are being  unnecessarily churlish for some reason. Why can't you just enjoy a very special series
narrated by a genius in his field ?

facts we all see things in different ways, I wasn't overawed by what seemed to be a normal episode on wildlife, I didn't see the first episode though so can't comment. Having a go at someone for not liking something that you like is pretty stupid.
Report akabula November 14, 2016 9:52 AM GMT
A bit like food. Always irritates me when someone says 'how can you not like that'.
Report scandanavian_haven November 14, 2016 9:58 AM GMT
Exactly.

I've seen it almost all before.
Report akabula November 14, 2016 10:00 AM GMT

Report Des Pond November 20, 2016 10:40 PM GMT
Didn't see it this week. I reckon what you saw must have been a caiman. They are much smaller than alligators or crocs, and are often killed by jaguars.
