I have an HD ready TV in the bedroom, picture is ok but not HD but obviously wasn't expecting it to be. Downstairs, I have HD Sky box, so most viewing is therefore in HD

How can I (most cheaply) get HD pictures on the bedroom TV? Another Sky box (which I won't pay for!)

Thanks in advance,

Pauly

Not sure I really understand your point but would this help

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mercury-Grade-Aerial-Combiner-Splitter/dp/B000NVSODG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1477839316&sr=8-1&keywords=coaxial+splitter

Split the signal from your sky box and run a wire upstairs.

May need this as it's HD :
.
HD Sender Kit with Receiver and Transmitter
.

or get a HDMI Splitter and a long HDMI cable up to bedroom.

To answer your question, you can't. A simple google search will explain why.

Whatever you do with the the quality/status of the signal you are firing at the TV you have, wont make a blind bit of difference to the quality of the output. Your issue has nothing to do with transmitters, receivers or cables, just what quality signal you feed your TV with, and equally importantly what "quality" your TV is capable of handling.

That's why I was unsure of his question. I'm wondering is the actual question just can he watch his Sky telly on his other TV without paying for another box? That's why I gave him the splitter.

If you just want to watch in another room, you can get a magic eye.
