The singer died of unexpectedly of a heart attack
A statement from his management team said: “It is with the greatest sadness that we have to break the tragic news that out beloved Pete Burns of (Dead or Alive), died suddenly yesterday of a massive cardiac arrest.
“All of his family and friends are devastated by the loss of our special star.
“He was a true visionary, a beautiful talented soul, and he will be missed by all who loved and appreciated everything he was and all of the wonderful memories the has left is with.
“We have no more words, we will make a further statement when we have had a chance to come to terms with our devastating loss.
“He will live forever in our memories.

i hope his pain is over.......i know he made mistakes with the surrgey but stuff went badly wrong and his life was ruined..........must have had about a 1000 anaestethics

Did anyone ever see him on BigBrother about 8 years ago? He was on the show with George Galloway,Michael Barrymore,etc.On that show,as a person,he came across as cruel,bitter,angry,etc...On bb i well remember his cruel verbal attack on the American actress Tracey Bingham.It was unforgivable.

He's one step up the 'What the hell did he ever do?' ladder of musical history, just below John Otway, who, as any fule kno, has now had TWO hit records and just above (well, isn't everyone?) Jools Holland.
