It's tough to bet against Clinton given the polls and bookmakers' odds, but I chat to a lot of folks in America and the vast majority seem to favour Trump.  You see a lot more of his window posters and yard billboards travelling about.

It might be a false comparison, but the election does bring to mind pre-referendum forecasts over here in Britain.

Obama has not turned out to be the messiah black America hoped for, in fact the living standards of the black working class has plummeted in the last 8 years. There are polls out there showing Trump's support is as much as 25% among black voters, although I'm sure Hillary fans will say they have been massaged.

Thought I better do some looking lest I make myself look an idiot (Plain) so been on 538.com. Nate Silver, he of the 51-for-51 in the 2012 election, today rates Trump's chances now at between 14-17%, so pretty much in line with the odds on here.

Also on the same site was another article, also dated today, states:

The 2016 election is poised to be among the most polarized elections ever, not only along gender and generational lines, but especially along lines of race  and educational attainment.

There's evidence that Trump is underperforming Romney among Asians and African-Americans, not just Latinos and college-educated whites.

No figures provided, unfortunately, so not sure where they get this evidence, but, given that Obama polled 93% of the black vote, it seems pretty clear that the 25% you saw in the poll you mention wasn't accurate.

A woman has told the Washington Post that Donald Trump reached up her skirt and groped her in a New York City nightspot in the 1990s.

Kristin Anderson said the property mogul touched her vagina through her underwear during the alleged assault.
Ms Anderson, now 46, said she was "very grossed out and weirded out".

It is the latest claim of sexual misconduct to emerge in recent days against the Republican nominee, who has branded his accusers "liars"

Responding to this specific accusation, his spokeswoman said Ms Anderson was seeking publicity by making a "phony" complaint.

these allegations against trump are not so clear cut..........

the lady on the plane who said he was like an octopus said it went on for 15 mins before she stopped it and she got upset when he tried to go up her skirt.......so was she happy with the rest? strange interview

the lady who was on TV crying, sent him an e-mail after the "event" wanting to meet up again...........i mean seriously...........

the lady in the night club who said he put his hand up her skirt.........this for me is the worst, if its true............im a red blooded male but doing something like that to a woman sitting next to me who i am barely talking to????????? it wouldnt enter my head.

the rest are various misses from beauty contests..........who said he use to come into their room when they were undressed and he used to kiss them on the lips..............the guy is a total sleaze, thats for sure

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will square off for the third and final time in Las Vegas tonight for what has been dubbed "Fight Night".

It emerged last night that he had apparently invited President Barack Obama's half brother, Malik Obama, to the debate.

“I’m excited to be at the debate. Trump can make America great again,” Malik Obama told the New York Post.

Mrs Clinton, meanwhile, is bringing frequent Trump critic and billionaire Mark Cuban and Hewlett Packard Enterprise CEO Meg Whitman.
