That is what should happen as that is the will of the people.
Freedom of movement of people to the EU to/from Scotland and NI in return for free access to EU single market. Irish border issue is banished, just rebuild Hadrians wall a bit to stop the EU migrants getting into England. Scotland needs more population anyway.
Free trade between all parts of UK, so English/Welsh companies can trade with Europe freely via their branches in Scotland/NI.
this is a sadistic proposal... the refugees are fleeing bigotry, sectarianism and discrimination and you are suggesting sending them to Belfast or Glasgow?

Exactly it will dilute the existing problem. Everyone will not know who they are supposed to be up against. Everyone is a winner.
And keeps them away from London where the main problems are.

Scotland and NI did not vote to stay in the EU - I hope this information is of assistance.
What they voted on, for it was the question on the ballot, into which the Electoral Commission out a lot of thought, was for the United Kingdom to remain a member of the EU. A subtle but important difference.
Damned near pulled it off too. If the Scots had turned out like they did in the IndyRef, and had voted 5:1 for Remain, then Remain would have just won, and we'd all have accepted it apart from a few sore losers. The English and Welsh are classy that way. More comedy thoughts about the SNP being so daft they didn't read the question on the ballot are on the politics forum courtesy of the excellent akabula.
