stewarty b, your story is quite interesting - I can't imagine asking someone out for a meal and then not ordering anything for yourself, she could have thought you were a bit weird. But here you are many years later still happily together. Fair play

Tis a Scottish thing crags. Must have been expensive. I'm no really hungry you tell them mentally punching the air as you save yerself a nice few quid.

I was going through a rough patch in my life at the time crags due to illness in my family. I was struggling to eat at the time and dropped a bit of weight. On reflection I should have at least had a starter!
As it happens she soon got used to my home cooking. |
