Frodeno broke the world record this year...2.4 mile swim in 45 minutes, 112 mile bike in 4:10(27mph, way faster than most TDF long flat stages), 26.2 mile marathon in 2:40(6 minute miles)

Never seen a domestique physically carry anyone over the line Rob. If it's allowed, it shouldn't be.

I do like the brothers though. As Tommy said, a very unassuming pair. You wouldn't get that from Southerners!!

"Let Your Love Flow" was their best hit in my opinion.

dont think this one had owt to do with thatcher; siblings kicked seven bells out of each other around here before her and I'm from the north.
It's cheating in my book since the race is about personal endurance and time, not tag team or part assisted carrying over the line. If there are individual positions (ie 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc) then that indicates a singular position based on merit.
The guy wouldn't have finished so it wasn't his ability that finished that race and being that they are related that's an unfair advantage as he would likely help the sibling before others.

It might make the sentimental damp but as a contest it makes a mockery.

...and before TT comes on about society again...
I think you'll find this wasn't altruism, it would be classed as Dawkins himself would describe as 'assisting the genes'.

Personally I'm loving the efforts of these Brownlee Brothers. They are surely chameleon, comedian, Corinthian and caricature.

It's all bloody wrong. Reminds me of when I won the cross country at school with the help of a 2 mile short cut.

I wish I'd seen yours. Alun's pretendy posts get on  me tits! He does know his music though tbf. Unlike the nutter who nominated Kate Bush on the 'whose music' thread!
