He probably means no link to Islamist terrorists (or to the other bomb in New Jersey) -- it could be a homegrown nutter, as a lot of these American bombings turn out to be. He also means no evidence *yet*, as it looks like there should be cctv coverage of the device being planted.

It could be a Fray Bentos steak and kidney pie incident. A long time ago when I was a callow youth I came in from the pub and followed the instructions but after 40 minutes it exploded in the oven. To be fair, the instructions didn't say you should take the lid off before putting it in.

The FBI have identified a 28 year old man they would like to interview in connection with a number of incidents, including the bomb that exploded in the Chelsea district.

He's an, erm, American citizen apparently (i.e. he's from Afghanistan) but his name isn't Chuck Irving Rockefeller. 

I'm sure this is a big silly old misunderstanding and there will be a simple innocent explanation for these multiple bombs being found in the neighbouring states of New York and New Jersey.

A boat captain from Cameroon murdered six passengers crossing from Morocco to Spain because they were Christian, prosecutors claim.
