Been round a lot of the islands, Crete is probably the most diverse because of its size ( about the same size as Wales) Lindos in Rhodes is a great place. Mykonos is an experience.. If you have the time its good to island hop and take in some of the smaller islands..you`ll always get a room

I've been to two. Both smelled of bad sewerage treatment. And only place I've been to where the toilet had a "no toiled roll down toilet" sign and you crapped then put toilet roll in the fly buzzing bin.
I think it's because their sewerage pipes are like 12" for a main sewer or something and 2" as feeds or something?!

The good thing about the Greek islands is that there are so many of them you can find one to suit what you want (party, quiet, historical etc.).
The Greek people are really nice and friendly (and not in a false way). And they need our tourism more than ever now.

I went up to the top of Oia on a donkey ' sh1t myself as mine was on the edge next to a very small wall overlooking the cliff!!
Fira is a cracking town. A boat trip out to go to the volcano and swim in the hot springs is brilliant.
Stayed in a gorgeous hotel with a private beach and away from the busy towns. Plenty of restaurants/bars.
The food in Greece lags behind the likes of France though.

Been to most of them, and Santorini by far the best looking/ most beautiful place.
Not stayed there though , only day visited so not sure about the night stuff, Kefalonia is my favourite- lots to see, and good(not crazy) nightlife, and the folk are really nice.
Corfu & Rhodes nice but you take yer chances with where you end up, the people on all the islands I visited were superb, really easy going.
Kos good crack, Mykonos is nice place but it is a big gay place so be aware of that before you go.
All islands better than the likes of Turkey/ Malta/ Cyprus etc, but that's only my opinion.
