If that had been my mate who is a former Royal Marine, that was being attacked by those two neither of them would have survived the beating he would have dished out.

He'd probably then be done for murder.

How could he possibly be charged with murder TL?? Out jogging minding his own business listening to his headphones and gets attacked in an attempted abduction by two men, one armed with a knife, he would have feared for his life and acted in self defence.

Just thinking....as a trained killer he would be expected to not use excessive force....might find it hard for a jury to convict on it though.

Police are really dumb - they have an artist's impression of one of thee abductors.
Just collar the artist and ask him who he is?

Could the soldier be making it all up? was there any other witnesses?

surely the Police woulda grabbed someone by now. cameras etc.
