Went to holiday park holiday and a couple of evenings went to the club.  It was a fairly new experience for me, but the people who we went with were keen on bingo.  I think there were 50-70 venues linked in.  Most tables in the club seemed to be doing bingo.  Over £12 for a book of tickets, and the games lasted a total of about 25 minutes.  The biggest prize was about £2k.  There were about 3 prizes of this amount I recall.  I asked our friends about the prize money compared with the ticket money and, other than saying that the more tickets that were sold, the bigger the prizes, they had no idea about the percentage of ticket money paid out as prizes.  Our friends don't have much money, but quite happy to spend £24 on tickets a night with no idea of value.

Getting home I have tried to do some online research, but to no avail.  Saw somewhere they may pay 50-60% as prizes, but nothing definite.  Gambling commission regulates it but website vague.

Anyone?

It's a good point as I tried to find what the payout was as a percentage - the online sites are equally vague I suspect it's a shocking payout.
