Heading to New York for a few days next week. Can anybody recommend anything outwith the obvious?

Restaurant advice would also be appreciated. Cheers.

Had a lovely Italian meal here in Little Italy. The owner even came out and gave me a free Limoncella when I went outside for a smoke.

If you like a good steak, go to K-Rico. Fantastic place, quite pricey but well worth it. Look it up on Trip advisor.
Take a helicopter flight up the Hudson river, amazing views to be had.
9/11 memorial/museum is a very sobering and interesting experience and has been done tastefully too.
All the 'obvious stuff' is all good the first time...We bought a city pass in the UK and saved a fair few quid on sightseeing.

Where are you staying?

I'll check them all out. Thanks.

We are staying in Midtown, near the Chrysler Building.
