Adolf and Eva. CH 5

Interesting program, I liked it.

I disagreed with the conclusions of the program. Hitler was undoubtedly one of the most evil men in history.
But I think Eva was just someone who fell in love with him, and stood by him, even unto death. I could not condemn her for that,
since it is a women's duty to stand by her man.

She differs from women such as Hindley or Rose West who actively joined in with their men's evil.
Eva was just Hitler's loyal mistress who gave Hitler some kind of normal family life. She never did anything evil herself.
I think she may have known Hitler was not all sweetness and light, but chose to ignore it, because she believed in Hitler.
She loved him, I see nothing wrong in that.

I cannot make any apologies for Hitler himself.
