A week ago, Germany warned its citizens to stock up ten days supplies of food and drinking water. A day later, the Czech Republic issued a similar warning. Now Finland has warned all citizens to stock up on food.

Will this affect the St Leger?

The whole World appears to be getting more violent. I assume there is thought of war with Russia in Europe

over the Ukraine.

I hope this does not happen and reason prevails.

Russia far too busy now bombing homes and hospitals in Syria to resume doing the same in Ukraine.

At least the aim of the Russian attacks on civilians in Syria (to encourage Moslems to flee to the EU) is actually succeeding. In Ukraine, on the other hand, Putin has simply led his country into an aimless mess as per usual.

Putin protects Russians whether they are inside or outside of Russia.

There are quite a lot of Russians in the East and South of Ukraine.

Putin would rather Ukraine remains in the Russian sphere of influence for both military and economic reasons.

A lot of Ukrainians(non Russian) wish to join the EU.

The best solution would be some sort of compromise, but we do not seem to live in those times.


Putin support Assad in Syria, it is also in Russia's interest. Again a compromise would be the best solution.

This would stop Sunni Muslims fleeing to the West, but we do not seem in those times.

War with Russia would not help anyone.

If it went Nuclear God help this country!

I feel a little sorry for the Ukrainians, they seem to have been caught up in the world of power politics.

It's certainly succeeding more than bombing civilians and arming the Islamic State in order to secure regime change to build an oil pipeline through the country.
